    I can't imagine enduring a radio show with that guy. He's so nauseatingly (yep, that's a word) over the top in those Cedar Crest commercials.

    Don't the Brewers do this same thing? I was browsing stubhub and ticketking and the like on the day of a sellout game and they had up to 12 tickets together... Virtually half of a couple sections were dispersed to online brokers. Wouldn't those be directly from the Brewers as well?

    Last year the NL took 4 first basemen and 7 outfielders. I'd put Fielder 4 and Braun 8th. Considering defense and position, I'd still argue Fielder has been at least as valuable as Braun this year, and likely more. I didn't even think of the DH, which would only make Fielder's odds even better. Mainly, my point is that Braun is getting all the hype and support from Brewer fans, and I really haven't heard anything about Fielder deserving a spot.

    So can we start a campaign for Fielder to the ASG? He now deserves it more than Braun, and should have a decent shot, especially if Pujols is out.

    5-0 record for me on the line tonight. As an aside, have we heard anything about the status of Weeks? I think he's eligible to come off the DL Sunday... Will that be happening?

    I actually think Melvin did a very nice job with new players. The only one I don't like is Mota. Gagne hasn't worked out at all so far, but I liked the signing at the time because it was only one year. I also want to pile on and say Mike Cameron has been a huge help.

    Yeah, it depends on how you define "great." His power is certainly great. Overall, I want more from Braun. He's way too undisciplined.

    Pitching from a Fielder trade >>> Pitching from a LaPorta trade. Factor in Prince's upcoming raise, refusal to sign an extension and awful defense, and I think this tips the scale.

    He has plenty of time to bounce back for a big contract. He isn't even doing that poorly this year. The thing that caught me off guard was in today's article about Fielder's tax issue. Haudricourt mentioned in passing that Corey Hart rejected a long-term deal earlier this season. We we aware of this? Because it was news to me.

    Great. I hope he keeps rolling and keeps moving up. The point was that yesterday when he was lower people were arguing he didn't deserve it.

    That's just unbelievable that he was able to play so well.

    Where have you seen anyone in this thread say they want Braun to hit less or for less power? We just want walks in addition to the hitting. Also, A-Rod walks a ton. It's one of the reasons that he's so great.
