This strike zone is baffling. Pitches right over the plate are being called balls. -
Eh, the defense has pretty much always been bad.
-
13 balls 9 strikes
-
Of course Polanco is up. Here comes a crappy bloop single.
-
Braun you idiot. My God this defense.
-
Man he's getting squeezed here.
-
Please defend not using a lefty against Howard. Or still hitting Gomez second. Or playing Kotsay over Morgan before Morgan was injured.
-
A .350 OPS is sure hard to do when you have a home run.
-
If you aren't using Stetter here there is no point in having him on the roster. How bizarre not to use the lefty this inning.
-
Betancourt looks like he's running in quicksand.
-
Why Loe against Howard? Where's the lefty!
-
Loe's going to be burned out by July.
-
When's the last time someone IBBd Kotsay? 2005?
-
You do that on the first pitch McGehee.
-
This is going to be a long season if I'm already sick of watching this defense.
-
McGehee somehow managed to not even get his glove on that.
-
It seemed like maybe his hand instead of his wrist?
-
Why is he hitting with this pitch count? Ugh
-
I love watching Marcum pitch. Too bad that error cost him an extra inning.

Introducing the Tony Plush Gentleman's T-Shirt
Oldcity replied to kestrel79's topic in Off-Topic Forum
I think enough people will know that it will be fine. Heck, most people don't know who Mark DiFelice is, but I still wear that t-shirt jersey to games. -
I worked at BIS in Pennsylvania a couple years ago. Shifts are not counted, but that's only if the stringer notices them. Trust me, human error comes into play in BIS's numbers more than they'd want people to realize. I like the company overall and think they do very good things, but I could go on for awhile about things they could improve.

These are all valid points about the managing, positioning, etc, but I just cannot get over the fact that the Brewers are playoff hopefuls with freaking Yuniesky Betancourt at shortstop. Prince is a horrible defender too, but at least he provides great offense and doesn't play at the most important defensive position.
-
If you're talking about YuBet, lots of players do that as a timing/rhythm thing. I have no problem with it as long as they get the ball where it needs to go on time. If you're talking about Prince, I don't get what you're asking. He double clutched because he didn't get it out of his glove cleanly. You're right. I was talking about Prince--on first glance I thought he hesitated before coming home.
-
Still, what the heck is he double clutching for?
