    Last years class was praised universally for good reason and this class well it kind of sucks. They can go out and prove us wrong but on paper its a bad class especially when you factor in who they picked in round one.

    The bullpen was never going to hold up all season when they are pitching 5 or more innings most nights.

    When a teams only strengths are defense and bullpen they aren't a serious threat.

    This just isn't a talented team and we should have taken advantage of a sellers market and moved Devin at the deadline.

    If its the Mets they will definitely be the underdog and I think they would be if its San Diego. If its anyone else the Brewers would probably be favored. To reach the World Series the Brewers would likely have to beat the Mets or San Diego followed by both LA and Philadelphia and that is a long shot at best.

    When you see the return that Taylor Scott brought back it makes you wonder how much we could get for Devin and I see that as a opportunity missed.

    I hope this stays boring from a Brewers perspective. This team has way too many holes to be a serious championship contender and will likely be underdogs in any series they play in.

    If we want a butcher at third base I'd bring Braun out of retirement before trading anything for Burger.

    He can't hit but he's cheap and a great defensive CF and thats worth more than a bad rental starter.

    I have absolutely no interest in a Canha type unless its a total salary dump.

    I am not a huge fan of Wiemer but a CF with that defensive profile should have been worth more than a mediocre at best rental starter.

    This isn't going to happen and I understand why but we should take advantage of the market and get a ton for Devin. I would have been happy taking the Rogers return for Williams if Baltimore would have been willing.
