This team is good but we do need to see how we do against other likely playoff teams. Its not unreasonable to want to see how we do against a team like San Diego instead of the dregs of the league such as Pittsburgh and Washington.

This is exactly what I've been saying. Its great that we have a good record but we need to see how we play against other likely playoff teams to see where this team is at. This coming week and really the next month will tell a lot about this team.

Starting Brosseau at short is a way of saying we are more than happy with 2 out of 3.

I haven't seen Wiemer play but he looks a lot more like a corner outfielder than a center fielder. The Brewers are not going to give up much on defense in center even if the offense is far better.

Ok the Phillies are great defensively. Besides Realmuto they are a team of DHs but I am done discussing this with you.

The Phillies defense is so bad that it doesn't matter how much they hit.

I'd rather keep him in AAA than dump him for a Daniel Norris type.

Maybe the Red Sox would take Hiura in a deal for JD Martinez if they just want to move the money.

One team is arguably the best defensive team in baseball and the other is probably the worst. I would be happy to bet you on which team finishes with the better record but thats not necessary.
