After what he did last season the leash rightfully will be short.
-
He's also been shaky on defense.
-
This guy looks pretty hittable to me.,
-
Hiura should get no more than one month to show something before he goes back to AAA.
-
Nice play Taylor.
-
The fundamentals have been lacking this whole series.
-
We sure know how to walk opposing batters.
-
Stearns watched this offense struggle big time down the stretch and in the playoffs and the answer to him was Renfroe and McCutchen. Just completely pitiful.
-
If Conforto is healthy just sign the guy. This offense needs a legitimate bat.
-
I still expect the pitching to be very good but its not an overreaction to think this lineup is way short.
-
I bet the exit velocity on these ground balls is very high.
-
Imagine if we were facing a good team.
-
We knew offense was going to be a problem but yikes if our three aces struggle.
-
Luckily this game only counts as one. Lets wake up tomorrow and get things going on the season.
-
The blame for this offense goes to Stearns since it was obvious to most that we needed to improve the lineup and he flat out failed.
-
Maybe just maybe its true that Haines sucks and that this lineup is trash. This offense failed the team down the stretch and in the playoffs yet Stearns did nothing to improve it.
-
Not when it comes to this lineup.
-
Stearns had an offseason of a guy just biding his time till he's running the Mets.
-
Fogot about Garcia but either way this isn't a powerful lineup.
-
Urena can go after this game ends.
-
Urias led the team with 23 HRs last year so we aren't exactly loaded with power bats or really good hitters in any aspect.
-
Luckily we have 8 more innings to get our offense going.
-
Nice play Wong.
-
Regardless of how this inning ends Woodruff isn’t pitching the second inning with this pitch count.
-
Three walks and a HBP. May as well bring in Hoby Milner.
