Aguilar end the slump today

Great start by Wheeler today. I think he might be my choice of the realistic choices to add a starter. Gausman not far behind with Harvey next then Gibson.

Me too. He doesn't get on base, but he does have some pop, he can run a bit and he is a solid defender all over the field. I'm not saying the guys is fantastic but there are far worse players to have and most teams, as noted, have one. The bigger issue is that the seems to get far more starts than I would like but that isn't his fault.

False. He showed a very useful bat last season. At the major league level none-the-less. Which is something Cordell hasn't even sniffed. In fact, outside of Colorado Springs, Cordell hasn't been very good at any level above High A.

More importantly they have whittled it down to just two games in the loss column. Also back to 15 games over which seems to be a comfortable spot for this team.

This team is fun when the starting pitching goes deep into games and the bottom of the lineup contributes.
