  1. I don't know about Darvish but I'd bet Arietta is is prime target right now.
  2. Yelich won a Gold Glove 2 years ago. I'd challenge that projection. I'd be willing to bet that isn't the opening day OF.
  3. Is this from your source or did you get it from somewhere online? Rosenthal is reporting they are still in on Cain.
  4. I would be stunned if they didn't add starting pitching.
  5. It sure sounds like they are in on Cain still.
  6. Can they afford two FA signings? Maybe Arietta and Cain. Then Santana for Kipnis, Salazar and a lottery ticket.
  7. The Yelich trade sure seems like an "all-in" move to me. Not in the least bit. Hes an all-star caliber player under control for 5 years. He can be flipped for prospects at any time. No way. They don't give up what they gave up if they don't have more planned.
  8. I can't believe they put Yamamoto in the package. I'd rather have seen Ortiz go - Yamamoto was looking a little like another Burnes. I'm not surprised.
  9. How do we know he can't? All the reports out of instructs says he looked fine there.
  10. I'll keep it simple. There is no way they gave up what they gave up for Yelich to not do more. So what is the more?
  11. I doubt it. There are national guys that have sources on this. There would be rumblings if something were imminent. Welp. Clear winner and loser in this debate. True dat.
  12. I'd rather give up Harrison and Brinson than say Brinson and Burnes.
  13. Nice assessment - I agree. Seems fair Plus Diaz and Hiura can both only really play second. One of them had to go.
  14. I love how Stearns played this. I still can't believe Yamamoto was the only pitcher that got moved.
  15. That's one opinon. Another is that his hit tool isn't very good and he may never make enough contact.
  16. Well, that's the problem. He's not a special player. Obviously, I disagree +1
  17. Yamamoto is the pitcher. If we kept all of the top pitchers I can live with this very easy.
  18. You sir, are the king and I am merely a pauper.
  19. That info seems dated as just yesterday they said the Brewers were the first "serious offer" they've received and that offer reportedly went out on Tuesday. HH19 say's it's going to sting. All signs point to it being a substantial offer that they are seriously considering. Was on MLB s show this morning 10 ish is when I seen it Serious doesn't mean the same thing as like.
  20. Darvish isn't coming here. My money would be on Arietta but only if other stuff happens first.
  21. I doubt it. There are national guys that have sources on this. There would be rumblings if something were imminent.
