Read that again. I didn't at all say, that my opinions are law, and never to be challenged. Many others on here do talk/act that way about their opinions.

I want more fir my home state team. Being above average and simply competing, and just making the playoffs isn't good enough for me anymore. So go ahead and sue me for expecting more now.

I've literally said the same thing about my own comments before. It's the large # of others on here who apparently think whatever they say, is the LAW, is always right, and is to NEVER be challenged.

One thing that can't be replaced, is his presence in the clubhouse. Some people put too much stock into analytics.

That's I'm not a fan of fourns, texts, etc, because when we can't see a person's body language, facial expressions, and/or tones of voice, things get taken the wrong way many times.

Probably the biggest reason I don't comment more suggestions, is because what I would suggest, is highly unlikely to happen anyway. Lol. Like I've said several times before I try not to set myself up for disappointment.

Question. So you think someone who doesn't deny hard truth about their team, or calls out their team when they feel it's warrated is being a "worse" fan? Really? I don't agree with that part at all. Just because some fans call out their favorite teams, doesn't mean they don't want them to be a great as all the "better" fans do. Lol c'mon now. That's being a little passive aggressive there, don't you think?

That may be, but imo, if people are holding out hope that Chourio will make up for the #'s we lost from Adames leaving, that's a lot to even remotely expect him to do. Especially at his young age. I also think they should sign Dejong asap to help replace the offensive production we lost.

Ummmm...really? You do realize rbi's has a lot to do with winning, right? With Adames gone, we lost a LOT of them.

So you think Chourio will have 50+ hr's and what? Around 200+ rbi? Of course he won't, which means it's highly unlikely he'll pick up the slack all by himself.

They're the same, because the actions of the FO(or in our case, lack there of) prove that they're those things.

If that's what you wanna call it. It's obvious though, when it comes to most people on here, they absolutely refuse to acknowledge that their opinions are actually wrong sometimes. If you wanna call pointing that out as being "holier than now", so be it. I get offended? Lmao! Now THAT'S comical. I'm the furthest from being offended on this site. It's also not good for fan forums to all rainbows and unicorns, and singing Kumbaya about the team, when it's not deserved. Like I said, most people nowadays can't handle blunt/unpleasant truths. Especially on here.

Again, stop putting words into my mouth. I said he MAY replace a fraction of them, but to count on a player at his age to replace most of them on his own is........for the lack of better words right now, wishful thinking.

Bite into? Sure. Possibly. Though who's to say our opponents won't make adjustments of how they pitch to him? Who's there to truly protect him in the lineup, so they don't automatically pitch around him? Chourio may replace a fraction of them, but definitely not the majority of them. Imo, we won't win the division this year. Hope they prove me wrong. If they do, unlike most people here, I'll have no problem admitting I was wrong.

That baseline was with the offensive #'s Adames put up, which is now gone, and they didn't absolutely nothing to try and replace them.
