  1. Exactly. I ran across this article today. I laughed out loud after reading the part about how "media" reports during the offseason usually aren't very conflicting. Lol that can't be further from the truth. https://dairylandexpress.com/packers-dk-metcalf-trade-rumors-take-unexpected-turn-01jn9rbphe9v Now watch, they'll end up trading for him. HA!
  2. Nobody here is a "target" of mine. Stop trying to create drama at my expense. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. In most of your trade scenarios, you're like 99% of most MLB fans. You overvalue our prospects because they're prospects on our favorite team.
  3. My bad. I just saw you said next season for Pratt. Imo, before Pratt makes the big team, they'd need to help him get his swing to have a better launch angle, so he hits for more power.
  4. I understand your points, except for Cooper Pratt. I agree with you, that it's looking like he's gonna a be a future star, but no matter how good he plays in the minors, I think it's highly doubtful that he'll make it to the majors this year. The only possible way I could see that happening, is if several of our players have season ending injuries. Let's hope that doesn't happen. I think the best thing for him, is to spend the whole season in the minors to keep honing his skills.
  5. That is basically impossible to do. Every team rates players differently, and for different reasons. That's just the way it is.
  6. Man, I really wish we had a batters eye in CF when I played years ago. Doesn't matter how fast they're throwing it, the ball just sticks out like a sore thumb.
  7. Since most teams manipulate their bonus pools in the earlier rounds to save $$ for players in the later rounds, the top 100 list really doesn't mean much. The MLB draft is the biggest crap shoot in professional sports.
  8. That's what the articles headlines make it seem like. Yes.
  9. You know, like when we drafted him, they said his ceiling was a #1starter, and his floor was a high end reliever/closer. How quickly "fans" here forgot about that.
  10. Agreed. If he doesn't get his control issues taken care of, though, that will promptly change.
  11. Sigh! Again, I said NOTHING about trading him immediately. SMDH. My God, people, stop trying to make my comment out to be more than it was actually meant to be. A frigging OPINION!! This site is getting to be way beyond ridiculous with how easily people get "offended". The blunt truth, though, is if he doesn't get his control issues in check soon, that means he'll almost certainly end up being a reliever, which WILL drop his future trade value.
  12. Then the media needs to learn how to word their titles better. They won't though, because it's ALL about stirring up drama.
  13. I agree. Again, I'm just tired of the "media" automatically assuming that it means he's being groomed as a starter. Don't make my initial comment into something more than it actually is.
  14. Of course he's going to say that. I was referring to the articles automatically claiming that just because he started the game, that it means he's being groomed as a starter. During spring training, it's very common for teams to have a reliever start the game, and pitch one inning. That doesn't always mean they're being made into a starter all of a sudden.
  15. Not saying trade him immediately. If he doesn't get his control in check, and soon, it will become obvious to the Brewers, and the rest of the league, that he'll have to be a reliever. And if that happens, his trade value will drop, big-time.
  16. Possibly. They better try something to get his control issues taken care of, though, before his trade value starts to plummet. It probably has already, somewhat.
  17. Here's just one of them. https://www.mlb.com/news/jacob-misiorowski-aiming-to-be-a-starter-in-2025
  18. Yes. I've read a couple since yesterday's game. I agree, that his role hasn't really been determined yet. Although, with his control issues, I think it's likely that he'll end up a reliever. And if that's the case, I'd be inclined to look at the possibility of trading him to a team that may like him as a starter. Just my opinion. Just goes to show how the "media" now, is nothing but biased drivel and pure sensationalism BS.
  19. Hound? Who's hounding? Newsflash. Just because someone disagrees with you about something, it doesn't automatically mean they're "hounding" you.
  20. Am I the only one who's getting tired of reading articles that claim that just because Miz was the 1st pitcher yesterday, it means that he's being groomed as a starter? During the preseason, it's not uncommon for relief pitchers to pitch the first inning.
  21. True. Neither will happen though, so it really doesn't matter. It's highly doubtful at least.
  22. Most of your proposals are notorious for being us getting a very good player for basically our bench players, prospects that have lost most of their trade value, or players we could easily DFA. That's no secret. Oh, and a for bag of used batting practice balls added in. You realize, that trades are a 2way street, right?
  23. True. I was in a hurry when I commented that. Didn't explain fully.
