    I see you're still in the habit of thinking teams will be willing to basically just give us players for sending them our scrubs/players that we could easily DFA, and a bag of used batting practice balls. Sigh....that's just not going to happen.

    We want his change-up to make batters swing at air, though. The "Air-Ender" could imply batters crush the pitch.

    Radar guns can be very inconsistent with their readings. Just saying. Especially in the All Star game. I've noticed several pitchers over the years who normally topped out 95-96, end up throwing like 98-99 when they're in the AS game. I've even seen the radar gun readings between TVand Am Fam field vary around 2-4mph from each other.

    Woodruff is going to say that, Whether he's feeling good, or not. Our goal isn't winning the WS? According to MA when they bought the team, it was the goal. It should be the goal of every team.

    You have no reason to not think he's known to be a good teammate either. So since you don't know if he is or isn't, you apparently just choose to assume he's not? Really? Nothing like treating someone guilty of being something, until they prove themselves innocent. Jeeesh. That's the exact opposite of how it's supposed to be. I have a feeling if we find out he actually is a good leader and teammate, you'd still refuse to believe it. Like many people nowadays, it's obvious you put too much stock into analytics. They're not to tell all, end all.

    I completely understand that signing a player like Bregman is/was a pipe dream for our team. Probably always will be. The main player I'm very disappointed that they didn't sign, was Dejong. Especially after he was signed for only $1M. He's obviously not the player he used to be, but I think his veteran presence alone, could've helped wonders with our young roster. Plus, one thing he can still do, is hit HR's and knock runs in, to replace the offense we lost when Adames left. Since we're hearing about the real possibility of Frelick playing some 3rd base, I'm fairly certain that they must not feel comfortable with Black playing there. Imo, there's no valid reason why they shouldn't have signed Dejong.

    I wouldn't want Turner for that amount either, and I never had any interest in Rodgers.

    There was plenty of FA's out there to get this offseason. They just kept dragging their feet, like they always do, and now there's none. Same thing they do pretty much every year. My "sky isn't falling". I just don't turn a blind eye to the obvious, just because I'm a fan. The blunt truth is always better than kindness clouded with deceit.
