  1. Yep, they hoped to attract an expansion NHL team.
  2. The way the Bucks discount tiks, they should average 18K if they win 45+ games. Sadly, this does not bring in much more cash, as their average ticket price suffers.
  3. Seattle had far more tradition than Milwaukee. Luckily for the Bucks, they are not at the bottom of the list, but once the Kings and a couple others get figured out, they will be, and the fact the city/county hasn't even discussed a new arena will be noticed and be headshakingly unacceptable. I doubt the Pettits are going to build them another arena. Sooner or later, either a Norm Coleman (built the Wild's arena) will step forward, or the Bucks will move elsewhere. This might play out in 5 years or 25 years, but it will play out.
  4. Teatoe, my Saturn has started to "rattle" under the hood when I shut it off, sounds like a fan hitting something, that kind of sound. Any guesses? Need to take it in, or just wait and see? Thanks for the previous advice on the oil burning, driven it 30K miles since and other than adding half a quart every couple weeks, runs perfectly, knock on wood. Still gets 40 mpg if you keep it at 55, 37-38 if I get antsy and go 60.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  5. Fontenot had every bit as good an offensive '10 as Pablo. Mike is a nice bench guy/stopgap for almost any team, especially those with RH bats at 2B/3B.
  6. Chevy Captiva and Opel Antura are twins of the Saturn Vue, which we have had two of and love. Cheap and basic, good mileage.
  7. I guessed Cain, Gamel, and Odorozzi on Ramblings. End's guess is likely close as well. Substitute Jeremy for Jake, and add a 1B to replace Prince from KC, you might have a deal that lets the Crew keep Lawrie and still gets the deal done. EDIT: Guys like McGehee, McClendon and Braddock could work their way into a blockbuster like this. The Crew might prefer Zach to Jeffress, as loogys are usually plentiful in free agency, and Jeremy's ceiling is higher, as no one thinks ZB could be a SP, with his arm history. Zach is more than a loogy, but relievers have limited upside.
  8. Both NY teams, both LA teams, and TOR.
  9. Erin Andrews said it was a small turnout. Embarrassing compared to others.
  10. Lawrie needs reps on defense, though to be fair, no one knows where he'll end up, could be any position except C, SS, or CF. Will it affect his standing? Unlikely, he's just too young and talented to be held back because of it. Sadly, he probably knows this.
  11. If it's not listed on what is not covered, I'd say it's covered. I agree, if they are offering to split it, they are just hoping she takes it, as they know they should pay it. If it was a wizzy widget, and the non-covered list said wizzy widgets, they would not be offering to pay 50% "just to be nice."
  12. I can't believe Zach was in the PCL long enough, as he was up in May. I'd have had Lawrie #3, behind Minor and Stanton.
  13. Hawing, I'm not sure how that could have topped the final Sunday of the season.
  14. I admit, I'd be tempted to go up to him and demand my property back. Granted, it's probably not an intelligent thing to do, but not knowing the size of you and him, I'd just assume he'd give it up, or assume fisticuffs may take place.
  15. Billingsley for Fielder seems pretty fair to me, he's good with upside. I do not know if LA can afford Prince in that mess, but it's something to build on.
  16. Maybe they've improved autochanger technology in the last five years.
  17. If the autochanger did it, it's because it's out of quarters.
  18. Never mind, I was thinking of a facemask, not a mouthguard. However, I do think most everyone wears a mouthguard.
  19. I think you're trying too hard. Prince for Santana makes perfect sense, especially if the Angels sign a FA SP. They have Weaver and Haren, and Ervin is costly. If they'd sign a SP and Crawford, while dealing for Prince, they would be favored to win the West.
  20. I'm 99% sure all NFL players have to wear a mouthguard.
  21. You have to sign off that the amount is fair. If it had low miles, or other things making it worth more, you can fight for it. I believe there's some sort of insurance you can buy for this as well, at the time of the loan. Too late now, but if you continue to have negative equity, you can add it next time for a minimal amount. This will give you the amount you owe, not what it's worth, if you owe more.
  22. Concussions are serious in any sport. But, baseball requires pinpoint hand/eye coordination, and the difference is minute. In football, unless you are the QB, I just think it's easier to play with the symptoms.
  23. NYC's crime falling actually made it appear everyone's crime was falling, as NYC is freaking huge. Their ranks have fallen drastically, and others have copied them. It works, and makes perfect sense. I guarantee you if a city leaves graffiti up, they're well behind on other things as well.
  24. Thornburg was added without comment to Wisconsin, but as I also asked, they have DH's every day at A and A+, correct? That's another everyday spot, for all intents and purposes.
