Got an email for WS tix going on sale at 10am. Jumped on at that time, $1100 for Terrace, $1300 for outfield bleachers, $1600 for 200 and 300. I'm so angry I'm shaking.

Need to bump this after the last two nights. In a world of matchup baseball, Murph has "set it and forget it" with his lineups. Even his pitching decisions have largely been to let guys finish an inning. Man is good at his job. -
I’ve gotten to go to all four home games this postseason. The atmosphere has been fantastic. Fans have been bringing it all year. I was at the Cubs game where Lara walked it off, and the Contreras walk-off HR against the Marlins. There’s been something different all year. When your pitchers are only giving up three runs, you may be behind, but you are never out of it. And this team doesn’t quit. So many times this year, after another gritty win, I just shake my head and say, “This ******* team!” I was checking flights to LA last night. I think I will save my $$ for the WS. Fly to Tampa or road trip to Cleveland. I’m not missing this!

I too, used the right field gate and walked right in. However, last night I parked across the street and walked over on the bridge. Today, I have preferred parking and will be coming in from the home plate side. I don't think you can get to the RF gate unless you walk the long way around the stadium, due to the construction gates on the first base side. Any idea if that is true? I got re-routed off of the interstate at Lake Mills due to an accident and it took me forty minutes longer to get to the stadium. I was probably as tense in that traffic as I was during the game. Fortunately I'm a dweeb who likes to be in the stadium 90 minutes early, so I still got there about an hour before.

Brewers 9000 Regular Season Games

Well, no, it’s a regular season record. -
I was looking at the Brewers records, and I did not realize until now that the final game of the 2026 season was exactly their 9000th (I don't count the Pilots games, because I don't). They are creeping ever so close to being 100 games under as a franchise. At 4444 wins (call it a Quad Molitor or a Double Hank), and 4556 losses (great cribbage hand), they are 112 games under .500. They haven't been 112 games under .500 since 8/31/95 when Scowlin' Mike Fetters gave up a walk-off win to the Royals. Next up, break the 100 games below .500 barrier, last seen in 1993. Or, just go 138-24 and get over .500 for the first time in franchise history.

I watch a lot of Brewers baseball. I was stunned to see that Lockridge played in 39 games and had 113 plate appearances. I cannot recall a single one. I don't remember him being on the field at any time. Putting my own experience aside, I would be surprised to see a guy who played 6 innings in the last 36 games of the year, and only 248 innings all season, would be on the roster.

Brewers ranks so far in 2026 playoffs: 1st in Batting Average (.250) 1st in OBP (.340) 1st in OPS (.688) 1st in Hits per game (8.25) 5th in Slug (.348) 2nd in fewest Ks per game (6.5, TB is at 6)

The Brewers had the second to most LOB in all of MLB in 2026. They averaged 7.54 per game. So we could have expected 30 in a four-game series. Of course scoring more runs is better. But again, that is how the Brewers operate. Get on base, try to make something happen.

Agreed. Someday, maybe people will come around and believe that Murphy's choices, while not perfect, reflect an ethic, culture and attitude that is working. Something is lifting the Brewers, and it isn't payroll or established superstars doing the lifting. Aaron Judge: Two years ago in spring training, he sat with his friend and former teammate Anthony Rizzo. The topic was the tradition that surrounds, even suffocates, everyone who puts on a Yankees uniform. "You gotta make sure you sit with the young guys," Judge told Rizzo, "and tell them about The Yankee Way." What does Spencer Jones need to know about Ruth, Mantle, Reggie? I bet he rolls his eyes at Judge. These are the good old days. Hurry up, Sunday!
