    I was at the game last night. I heard "green bay sucks", not the f-bomb, to be precise. Maybe somewhere else in the stadium they were chanting the f-bomb. I was hearing "three day (something)" and couldn't figure out what they were saying for a while. And come on, the best Packer fans have come up with is "the bears still suck." It ain't Shakespeare.

    And I find it amusing. Because it's manufactured. Neil Brennan says it best.

    The need for pro athletes as a group to manufacture disrespect and find a way to place a very large chip on their shoulders will always be amusing to me.

    Brown has been really good against the Brewers. He threw 7 no-hit innings against them in 2024, He has a 2-0 record with an ERA of 1.00 and 19 strikeouts in 3 appearances (18 innings) versus the Brewers in his career.

    This team has played very well against the good teams the last few years. Maybe someday I'll not worry about how tough an upcoming schedule looks; the team sure doesn't seem to worry about it.

    Woodford was good! Chourio coulda/shoulda caught the triple, Bauers looks like he never watched a Tom Emansky video with a terrible throw on a very medium fly ball, then two outs on a groundout and a K. Not like Woodford blew up out there. Tough crowd.

    Gasser was excellent in 2024. 5 starts, 28 innings, ERA under 3, 1.03 WHIP. He got injured, like you said. I get not being thrilled with him today, but not sure why guys seem to be down on him long-term.
