Nobody on this site but you uses “Freddy” and “ace” in the same sentence, but by all means, keep calling him out during a 7-inning, one-run outing. He gave up one run, and that’s Jekyll and Hyde to you.
Did the Brewers come out and say they were saving Rea for the Cubs? Or was it a matter of giving him a couple of extra days of rest? Maybe I am misremembering, but I don't recall many times in previous years where they set up a rotation for an opponent (Playoffs excluded). Maybe Greinke and Sabathia around the ASB. In fact, I think the opposite has been discussed in the past where this board has wished they would manipulate the rotation for certain opponents. I know they've skipped starts, but this seems unusual.
And all that just to play some last-place team with a new manager?
The only “gaslighting” is from guys like you who watch a team go 48-33 and insist somehow that what they are doing is not working. There is no combination of moves that the Brewers can do to match up with the likes of what the Dodgers can put on the field. So they make incremental moves to try to improve the team.
I'm going to assume he's a baseball player, and not a clubhouse attendant or other hanger-on.
Just googled him. I have no memory of ever hearing his name before.
Bally sports app kicked me out during the 6th. Now not only do I not live where I live, the app says there is no programming in my zip code. I’ve watched almost every game! Until an hour ago
Of all the teams who should know better than to give up on the season, it's gotta be the DBacks, right? Why would they be sellers in any capacity? It seems really odd for them to consider trading Walker.
