  1. That home run leaderboard is looking mighty lean so far
  2. Some of these “Brewers” are unfamiliar to me.
  3. Freaking kids, always on their phones.
  4. I don't think they have accepted cash for years. I assumed they would still have the wayfinders that direct you to your row, otherwise it would still be the wild west finding a spot. So, no savings there. The "parking ambassadors" who help at the scanning posts are probably just a one-for-one swap with the people who scanned your ticket before you pulled in. I don't see how they are saving money at all. My hope is that I will get off the highway and into my spot more quickly than before because I don't have to stop and get scanned as I drive in. The waiting time previously spent in your car will be now perhaps be spent scanning your code, but at least traffic will move better. I think it sounds great. Hope it works out that way. They might have just thought that this was a better way for people to park, and not had any nefarious intent at all.
  5. My understanding is that their panels were closed. That was the only thing that kept it in the stadium.
  6. Gee, a shoulder...surely there won't be anything...anything...I mean, what's the worst--ah, screw it. Quick read of some articles just said "shoulder". Was it his throwing arm?
  7. My goodness, Trout hit a bomb last night. https://www.mlb.com/video/mike-trout-drills-a-473-foot-homer-run
  8. So you think they were trying to inhibit their growth with their approach? As in an organizational goal?
  9. Have you had Kwik Trip tenders? Soooo good.
  10. McNeil is covering for the fact that he lost the ball on the exchange before the contact.
  11. Is that 151-11 in the regular season, and 11-0 in the playoffs? If so, I'm on board.
  12. And the Dodgers have a negative run differential, with a team ERA of 7.50. I am optimistic that is sustainable for another 160 games.
  13. A lot less burden of proof in MLB investigation. The "Best Interests of Baseball" clause can allow them to get in front of it and perhaps control the spin of things. MLB has a lot at stake, so they probably don't want to be blindsided by whatever comes down.
  14. Gold gloves, Silver Sluggers, Comeback player and rookie of the year all over the diamond. Second-year jumps from Turang, Wiemer, Frelick and Perkins. Surprises from newcomers Ortiz, Ross, Junk and Haase. Let's go!
  15. St. Louis is an exception. Some young position players, but the rotation is Lance Lynn-36, Sonny Gray-34, Kyle Gibson-36, Miles Mikolas-35, and Steven Matz-32. Goldschmidt-36, Carpenter-38, Brandon Crawford-37, Arenado-32 are in the infield/DH mix. The only place that they are young throughout is the outfield. Winn improving at SS will be critical to their success.
  16. I'm in line with you. The gestalt of his injuries is not drawing a pretty picture. Would love to be roasted for this take because of a resurgence by Mitchell. He's got the backup qb vibe, where what we haven't seen makes people want him more, as opposed to Wiemer, who is out there every day battling. Turang as well.
  17. Strz' bad ending to last year was lost in the shuffle because of how much Chafin sucked when he was here.
  18. Can't imagine that the arbitration salary for a guy who can't get on the field is too high.
