  1. Bad night for the Brewers to lose. Cubs won their game.
  2. Awful lot of 0-2 counts to come back from for this team tonight. Steele is 14-3 for a reason.
  3. Holy cow, I just saw that the Angels dumped their roster. What is that?
  4. Sometimes people get frustrated when they see somebody demonstrate a "complete inability to comprehend" something and they express it poorly.
  5. A fly ball is hope. I will continue to cheer for hope, despite the fact that there are people who like to tell me how to be a fan. What would you like me to do, wait until the ball finds a glove or the seats? It's over by then. I will continue to boo the opposing team throwing over to first, while not booing my team. Even with the fact that throwing over twice is now an advantage to my team. I will cheer for Chorizo in the Sausage Race, even though he breaks my heart every time. I will cheer and clap when the organ prompts me to do so. I won't do the wave, though. I think it's tired. You do you, however.
  6. MLBN gave them and the Phillies the coveted “Team No One Wants To Play In The Playoffs” designation yesterday.
  7. Tight strike zone was not the problem with Gomes
  8. Ugh. Swanson doesn’t need that garbage
  9. I know Rowdy hurt his finger, but seeing him put on a sliding glove made me lol
  10. That graphic confirms what I feel like every time the Brewers play the Cubs: they keep fouling off pitches to keep at bats alive.
  11. Brewers haven’t had their 5-run inning yet. Spoiler: it will be the seventh tonight.
  12. Wow, as probably the biggest critic of Canha during his first two weeks, I gotta say, that was a bomb!
  13. Never mind, I think Harry Doyle answered me
  14. If Angel Hernandez is on third, does that mean he’s behind home plate tomorrow?
  15. Amazing quote by Brandon Lowe:
  16. Immaculate Grid today taught me that I know very little about the Dbacks history. Also, Walt Weiss never won a GG. I guess that is a spoiler, but don't use him.
  17. Ok, I just got home. Haven’t seen a single pitch. What happened? Go.
  18. A Reds/Brewers match of Billy Bates got me .1%. That day was also the only time I ever got 9/9.
  19. Dial the digits, we'll sue those idjits.
  20. Seriously? I thought it was "Dial initially, proceed litigiously."
  21. Sounds like Counsell is instilling the urgency to win every game by saying it will come down to the last week. Even with a sweep of the Cubs next week, the Brewers really can't close the race sooner. It's baseball, they will win some and lose some, no matter what Counsell says in a press conference. What if the Brewers go 21-8 up until the last week of the season? I think we would all consider that outstanding. If the Cubs go 20-10, the race comes down to the last week, even with what I would perceive to be a tremendous sense of urgency and superior play on the Brewers part. I don't think it's realistic to expect a 7-game lead on Sept 25 with six games to play. I would be ecstatic with a four-game lead with 3 to play!
  22. Would any of the outfield candidates listed be worth a look at first base?
