  1. The bat literally never left Peralta’s shoulder. The pitch was at his head and he turned his body toward the pitch and pulled his body away from the plate. Slow it down and watch it. It literally never left his shoulder.
  2. I would love WR D’Wayne Eskridge as a WR/RB combo that has return capabilities if he’s still available for the Packers at the end of the 2nd round.
  3. Completely agree. Dream come true for him to be able to pitch for his favorite team. Good for him. Hopefully he pitches well.
  4. Stokes seems like a very solid pick. Pairing him with Alexander could make for an elite secondary if they remain healthy. Get a LB and WR tomorrow and I’ll be pleased.
  5. Get the pitchforks ready. They are showing just how dumb and idiotic they are for letting it get to this point.
  6. Trade Love, give Rodgers an extension, and draft a receiver in the first round. Do what you need to do to fix this and get Rodgers and the Packers on the same page.
  7. If it truly is to this point and Rodgers is traded, there will be unrest among Packers fans like we haven’t seen. Heads will roll in the organization starting with Murphy and Gutekunst for letting it get to this point.
  8. Hard to blame a guy when he’s arguably the best quarterback of all time and the organization has done little to nothing in the last 10 years to help him or show they are going all in. The Packers have arguably had a shady defense since 2011, with either having poor corners or awful linebackers. The Packers have finally done something about their corners in recent years, but have had a massive black hole at linebacker for essentially a decade outside of Matthews. The Packers haven’t taken a WR, RB, or TE in the first round since Javon Walker in 2002. They’ve essentially shown Rodgers his entire career to shut up and deal with what we give you. In fact, I thought I remember an article a couple years ago about Murphy or Gutekunst basically telling Rodgers to shut up. When the wide receiving core was bad, it wasn’t addressed. When the CB’s sucked, it took almost 7 years to fix it. When the LB’s sucked, well, they still do And it’s been a decade. Oh, and when he started showing a little frustration, the Packers decided to trade up and draft a quarterback. When it was obvious at the time the Packers needed WR help. All of this after Rodgers, who was 36, said he’s playing into his 40’s. So at least 5 more seasons. Murphy, Thompson, and Gutekunst dug their own graves. While digging one for Rodgers hoping he would just lie down in it and shut up. Rodgers has finally had enough.
  9. I really find this part in his third answer to be quite interesting. “The footlane has nothing to do with this play. That’s only a throw being taken by the first baseman from the catcher or the pitcher”. Essentially, he’s saying the footlane doesn’t matter on most plays, but does on plays when the throw is coming from the pitcher or catcher. Godley was the pitcher making a play and throwing it to the first baseman. Anyway, he fielded the ball about 3 feet into the grass, took a couple steps towards first base basically running parallel to the first base line, tossed it underhand, and started veering off to the left back into fair territory. This is such an obvious botched call. Even the umpire in his response is contradicting himself and basically explained how it shouldn’t be interference on Godley. Godley is entitled to making a play in fair territory without a player running into him. What a joke.
  10. Lauer has a chance to put 2020 behind him and get off on the right foot in 2021. There’s no tougher matchup than this tonight. It’s Lauer Hour!
  11. Excited to see what he can do. 4 pitch mix and doesn’t walk a ton of guys. He might be the next under hyped prospect to come up and have extended success at the big league level.
  12. "Hedbert Perez is “totally fine,” says Tom Flanagan. He was away from the complex for a week, not injury related, but is back now." Thanks, I was getting a little concerned. I was hoping there wasn’t a significant injury
  13. I thought he got the hand in there just before the tag. I thought I understood baseball pretty well before today. I feel like I don’t know how to baseball anymore.
  14. I actually thought the ump was calling interference on Vogelbach when I saw him pointing towards Vogelbach when fielding the throw in the base line in front of Aguilar.
  15. Stearns did say in the first series of the season that we would see Ashby this season. I will say I’m a little surprised that not one of Weigel, Bettinger, or Lauer received the call today.
  16. Surprised Yardley wasn’t called for interference there. I didn’t think pitchers were allowed within 10 feet of a runner when throwing the ball underhand to first base. At least that’s what I learned an hour ago... Now I’m just confuzzled.
  17. I’m sorry, but there’s 0 excuse Counsell is still in this game. That’s a time where he should rip first base out of the ground and hand it to the ump or take it to the dugout himself. Give the ump the base and tell him how we don’t need the base anymore since he single handedly ruined the game today.
  18. Godley called for interference at first base on a slow roller down the first base line. Godley fielded it and tossed it underhand to first and was on the grass the entire time. Probably about 3 feet within fair territory. He tossed it underhand and Vogelbach caught the ball by the bag at about the same time Godley and the runner very slightly brushed shoulders about 20 feet from the bag. They never said why he was safe officially, but it must have been interference. Horrible horrible call.
  19. What a pathetic call, that’s unreal. I can’t believe Counsell doesn’t protect his team here and stand up to that atrocious call. He didn’t even do much arguing and just walked back to the dugout. That was arguably the worst call I have ever seen.
  20. And then replace those three. That’s actually the trend of this forum. Always trying to replace. Hell, there’s posters here that would probably replace Cain with Taylor for good and then call our front office cheap and stupid when he eventually stinks too. Why is this spot on?
