  1. The Packers made so many horrible mistakes tonight, and still did enough to get a W. That is the sign of a good team. We might have something here this year.
  2. Went back and watched it, and it looks to me that the ball is at the goal line when the knee hit, which is a TD or impossible to reverse at the very least. The pylon cam shows he was down plenty early... well before the end zone. In fact no body part was in the end zone when he his knee was down and touched. They just showed it several times. It was close, but I don't think Lazard wasn't touched by the defender until the ball was over.
  3. That was my question too. Obviously the refs were looking for it. It was a cheap call, but why even give the refs an opportunity to call it? Poor play from one of those vaunted "former Patriots" the announcers were all excited about.
  4. More like refs won that one. Just when you thought the NFL refs couldn't be any worse they like hold my beer we can do worse! Yeah, if I'm a Lions fan, I'm pretty livid right now. Both hands to the face calls were gifts.
  5. Wow ... Packers escaped with that one.
  6. Really smart play there! Terrific!
  7. Wow, THAT was a terrible call.
  8. Allen Lazard is moving up the depth chart tonight. Packers haven't had a big, strong receiver like this in awhile.
  9. Gotta stay aggressive here. A FG would be great, but a TD would be ... more great.
  10. Need to get the ball down the field, and take some time off now.
  11. 12 man isn't a bad call. That's just an inexcusable mistake. Allison roughing call wasn't intentional, but at full speed it looked bad. The Lions have played tough tonight for sure. I just don't think they are very good. I'd bet they will be that typical Detroit team that struggles to play .500 ball.
  12. They aren't. Packers losing this game is entirely on them. They are playing like crap. Entirely? Please. Yeah, a fumble from Jones in field goal range and a ball that bounces off the WR's facemask at the goal line. A fumbled punt. Defensive miscues early on. Yes ... they have played poorly. They are still in this game because the Lions aren't very good.
  13. Aged poorly So did the posts on Page 1 saying the Lions aren't very good. They aren't. Packers losing this game is entirely on them. They are playing like crap.
  14. Packers need to put it in the endzone here.
  15. Dang ... Prater is a hell of a kicker.
  16. Good lord Shepard! Wow! He'll be looking for a job tomorrow.
  17. This game is proving that WR talent is not interchangeable. The Packers' WRs look like UDFA's, while Golladay looks like the best player on the field when the Lions are on offense.
  18. I think Hollman may have thought the returner brushed it when it bounced.
  19. I think it's the scheme tonight. Flat out bad. Can't get any receivers open.
  20. I don't know if it's more scheme or personnel, but the Packers are not getting receivers open.
