That's why I would trade for Realmuto even though it would involve Keston. He's one of the best players in the game at the toughest position to find talent, and he's under control for a couple more years. So trade our 2B of the very near future to fill a glaring hole... Then, next year, we will need a 2B, what do we do then? Trade a valuable piece to fill a hole, then leave another hole to be filled, I'm not feelin' it. If Huira was a player that was this close, and was only depth at that position, or blocked by a stud, then maybe, but as it is now, we would still need a 2B. I would not, no way, no how, trade Huira for a catcher, no matter who they are. I get what you're saying, but filling a hole at 2B is probably much easier than filling a hole at C. Just look at who the Brewers have been able to pull off the scrap heap. Guys like Miller and Saladino can be had for next to nothing, while others like Hager and Moore are in the minors waiting for an opportunity. Not near the upside of Hiura, but no one really knows what Hiura would provide next year either.
