I agree with you. Peralta has looked fine since being called up, but if I had to pick any of the three between him, Burnes and Woodruff to trade, I'd pick Peralta. He'd be a solid sell-high guy due to his nice start to his career.
35 pitches on Monday. Off limits till today. I mean, they have done this all year regarding Hader's usage. You may not like it. I don't like it. But it is what it is, and they are sticking to it.
Did you think this after last night when we scored a bunch of runs and the pen shut down the game? Or is this just a knee-jerk reaction because today didn't go well... LOL +1 Reading some of the comments last night, you'd think the Brewers just lost Game 7 of the NLCS to the Cubs because of a Kyle Schwarber walk-off HR. But no, it was the rubber match of a three-game series against the Marlins. In July. A few grips are needed.
Likely because he is 25, has multiple years of control and is a stud. Those are the types of guys you build around, not trade off. I highly doubt that he is available, even for a king's ransom.
Thank you. No kidding. Yeah, losses suck, but the sky is not falling. I'm betting we'll see Houser and Woodruff up tomorrow to soak up pen innings over the weekend. I bet Lopez, Orf and Peralta are all optioned down.
Again there are no pitchers left. Hader didn't pitch yesterday did he?? How can there be no pitchers left? 35 pitches on Monday. Unavailable until tomorrow I'm sure. The way they use him is arguable, but it is what it is, and it's been that way all year. This is simply a case of a bunch of short starts coming back to haunt the team. It is going to happen unless these starters start going 6+ more regularly.
Great throw by Nottingham. He is showing well on offense and defense so far. Have to think that Kratz might be on the roster bubble once Pina comes back.
