  1. Yeah if we were going to sign a veteran like him I'd prefer rolling the dice on Jordan Montgomery.
  2. Well I'm not a GM but Baty seems to be a Brewers type guy who is pre-arb and can play all over the place plus he had a nice breakout last season. Sproat and Tong are both decent upside arms with lots of control. obviously there could be additions/subtractions on either side but those seem like decent targets in areas of need for us.
  3. Mets could also use another reliever and Bichette reportedly playing 3B for them. Maybe something like: Peralta & Koenig or Megill for Sproat and Baty.
  4. I mean, Bregman is never gonna sign here, but we definitely have a shot at Bergman.
  5. Usually when there's smoke there is fire when it comes to this front office. You either hear about something right before it happens or it happens without a mention. We will see in the coming days. Off the wall theory - Brewers attempting a pillow contract on Snell and Boras is leading them on. Maybe they leak something like this now as an ultimatum - either take our offer or your guy is still in limbo.
  6. Yankees have lost a lot of arms this offseason already - I'm not sure they are keen to lose two more for a rental.
  7. When was the last time the Brewers developed a good hitter? Braun? Taylor and Hiura are both below average but might be the closest thing. Who is to say that any of these hitting prospects develop into solid every day bats in the Brewers system? None of them should be untouchable in the right deal and it's no guarantee that even a bat who succeeds after being traded by the Brewers would have also been successful here.
