Just got home from the game a few minutes ago and haven't read anything else on the board yet, but I was very impressed with how many Brewers fans showed up. A pleasant surprise today to have "Let's Go Brewers" and "M-V-P" chants at Wrigley. I am certainly excited for what is ahead, but part of me wishes this was like the end of the original Major League movie where you are left guessing if the magical run ever ends. I'm on cloud nine tonight!!! We are all in a great place tonight. Just a great great great night for fans of the Crew!!

To me it is their fans who are insufferable and not the players - save that one clown (a pitcher?) who said this isn't a rivalry. I have an older couple who are neighbors and Big Cub Fans. They have a W flag on their porch. Long story short, I have been grilling steaks and drinking some Miller Lites out back for hours this evening. They are out back as well. No “Hi” no nothing. Petty as hell. Any thoughts on how to approach this?? Look forward to creative responses.

Great post! Nobody can take away the Division Championship. Arguably the best division in MLB this season.

I have tickets for Friday game and was refunded my WC game tix by Stub Hub. I will be driving up from Bloomington Il. Hoping for a 3:00 start time or later. Actually thought it would be 6:00 pm start but I am ready to party in MP regardless!! Am looking for game times TBA.

His toupe has really messed with his mind. It's like national broadcasters think that the Brewers typically go to the pen after 3 or 4. I mean, that happens, but only when the starter gets in trouble or they need the pinch hitter. Like Counsell just said, Chacin is rolling, so stick with him until he gets in trouble. Call the game, rather than try to fit a narrative. (Saying this to the announcers)

[sarcasm][/sarcasm]I will add this: The 2 games I was able to enjoy at Miller Park in July were what clinched the home field in the Wild Card Game for the Crew. We beat the Braves for a rare Sunday afternoon victory (just before our pre AS swoon) and we beat Kershaw on a Saturday night after the AS break. FTR, I just purchased WC game tickets for Tuesday night.
