  1. Informative, unbiased, on point, smooth delivery - the total package.
  2. (Other than the fact that the Brewers and Rockies are clearly the better teams at this point in the season) 10. Cubs jerseys were too tight and rigid to swing a bat effectively after several players followed Rizzo's idea of wearing their uniforms on all plane, train, bus, and automobile trips home. 9. They enjoy Wisconsin cheddar cheese with their whine: "We play too many games" "Our Sept. schedule is not fair" 8. Giving Terrance Gore the steal sign while he was in the batter's box as the HP ump was writhing in pain. Bad Karma, man. 7. Bryant and his teammates suffering from PTSD after getting rocked by the crew in 6 of their last 8 meetings. 6. Just having a player (Jesse Chavez) who looks like a character from Fast Times at Ridgemont High on your team is a reason to go home a loser. 5. Joe Maddon is not superstitious. He is littlestitious. Cute Joe, really cute. Just like all your lineup changes and pitching moves. 4. Cubs bats cooled under the tutelage of Chili Davis. Chill out. Just chillin'. Chill. 3. Someone swiped (tag) El Mago's magic wand over the weekend. 2. No rain delays for the Winston Churchill of MLB, Jason Heyward, to give his boys a motivational speech like no other. And... The number one reason the Cubs lost their last 2 most important games of the 2018 MLB season... 1. "Try not to suck" - Joe Maddon Sorry Joe, but your guys sucked.
  3. The clean up crew is best in the Biz. Why? Is Baez on the cleanup crew? MVP! Possibly, he can swing a broom and mop with the best of them I presume. Actually Arenado made a great quip about that prior to the game yesterday.
  4. The clean up crew is best in the Biz.
  5. Think small and BIG things happen. Oh, the games we could play with this.
  6. Edwards didn't make the WC roster Mighty fall for that guy.
  7. CJ Edwards unavailable tonight? I would like to see him melt down again.
  8. Another lengthy Cub scoring drought. Someone told me today they have scored 2 or fewer runs 40 times this season.
  9. This battery looks out of whack.
  10. This is a great story line - young gun outduels savvy veteran Hope it holds up
  11. Maddon talked about giving Lester a longer leash tonight than most pitchers. Yes, this decision may come back to torment him. Well, 6 innings is a super long leash considering how Maddon loves going to to the pen. Still, I would have given Lester at least another inning ... or simply just let him go until he gets in trouble. He looked dominant after the 1st inning. And to go to Chavez, who just went 2 against the Brewers yesterday? Playing with fire. Yes he does tend to over manage however Hendricks went 8 and Hamels went 7 in key games this weekend. Lester is unforgivingly pissed. And yes Chavez put up a zero so all is good right? Go Rockies!
  12. Maddon talked about giving Lester a longer leash tonight than most pitchers. Yes, this decision may come back to torment him.
  13. That reaffirms his status as one of my favorite non Brewers players in MLB Classic line to “flame” the Cub organization.
  14. Yes they are. I have had my eyes on stubhub tix for WC and NLDS 1 and 2 games and since last night prices have at the very least increased by 50% (Terrace) and in some cases more than doubled (infield loge). I purchased 2 terrace for 110 each minutes after the Crew defeated the Cubs yesterday. The same area is now 180. I live out of state so was at a major disadvantage trying to get tickets through brewers.com.
  15. I like how you think. I wonder the same and would love to see those flags flying with the Gold and Blue on top.
  16. One that weighs about 12 pounds and has an engraving that begins with the letters NL.
  17. To summarize the speculation for Friday game time: Likely noon; possibly 3:00. No chance for an evening start. Correct? Feel free to elaborate.
  18. 6:00am launch time from central IL. Tailgate starts at 9:15.
  19. On Thursday or Friday?
  20. I thought about saying good game or something neutral to start up a discussion but Congratulations on the W C is over the top too funny!!
