    Giving up the TD after closing back within 10 in 3rd quarter pretty much ended the what if's for me.

    Love's awful showing is most concerning to me at the moment. Let's see if he can get it together.

    I am not excusing thus awful show by the Pack but I think Vikings are better than many give them credit for.

    But that has sort of been our Achilles heel all year. The good teams just wait for us to make mistakes.

    What in the hell is Love even thinking there? It's 3rd and 5 and the worst thing that can happen is giving Vikes back the ball.

    Every game against a good team pass rush can't get home.

    I was thinking about it last week when he turned down the TD to Watson for the easier throw on 4th down, I am not sure I trust Love's accuracy yet to be too aggressive.

    That drive was so easy I am not convinced at all it wouldn't be 7-0 if we failed. We need to make some adjustments on D for sure.

    Vikings get those plays all the time it seems, we rarely do. You would think with our running game we would.

    Yes, we don't really have the red zone passing game you would like to gamble from the 4. If that 3rd down play was Kraft might have got it in.

    Nothing but deep throws and Love isn't in a rhythm yet. Awful play calls lucky the punter bailed us out.

    Kyle Brandt said on GMFB that Packers-Bears will be on Saturday. They don't announce anything for next week until after this weekend but just a heads up for anyone going it could be moved.

    Alexander won't play if he is not 100%, I thought they said he still just didn't feel like himself last week. Everybody else plays through stuff like this but I am guessing he just doesn't trust the knee yet. He will be released in the offseason and someone will give him something like an 8 million one year prove it deal. In camp he will claim he feels healthy for the first time in years then he will pull hammy/quad/groin in like week 2 and miss a month. I still hope he is back for the playoffs but he needs to get out there soon.

    I am not too thrilled with going to Philly and then Detroit while the Vikings get Tampa and then the Wash-LAR winner. Most years I would agree it doesn't matter but I think this is a year where fighting for every seed could pay off. Let Wash take another crack at Philly first.

    With Washington on our heels there is a good chance we will need to win both these games to avoid the 7 seed. I don't want any lay down games, keep the team focused and sharp heading into playoffs.

    The Saints last night were easily the worst offense we have seen all year but always nice to get a shutout. Love had a few too many bad throws, I don't think it was the weather but maybe. He didn't trust himself to pass up the sure thing underneath for a potential TD to Watson on 4th down, that was sort of odd as he saw Watson for sure. Hope Watson is OK but it didn't look too serious. Huge game next week, we cannot get swept by both Lions and Vikings.

    It just occurred to me that with Rhyan and Enagbare stepping up this year the Packers now have 6 starters (Quay, Watson, Rhyan, Doubs, Tom, Enagbare, and RWalker) from the 22 draft. And Wyatt probably gets more snaps than the starter Slaton. Especially impressive since they probably would like to extend 4-5 of those guys and the team is 10-4 with Super Bowl aspirations. Nice job Gutes!

    LOL Well, I didn't say anything about Rodgers mentoring a young QB. He is waaay past having any reason to get offended by his team drafting a QB. At this point I think he just wants one more shot and it's hard to see that happening anywhere else than with the Jets. If it's not the Jets he will probably stay home and hope for an injury so he can come in and be the hero.

    I was just looking at a mock draft and Raiders and Giants look like they will snatch the top 2 QB's so there may not be one worth picking at the Jets pick. If that's the case I would bet on Rodgers being back there one more year, especially because Adams likely stays with him. Of course it depends on how the new GM and HC(and owner) but why blow it all up if you don't have another plan in place? They have some talent and have lost a lot of close games, even if they find a QB to draft give it another year.

    I know Rodgers seems to be campaigning to return in 25 lately but I wonder if his and Cousins play this season might mean the end to vet QB's getting big money. In fact, maybe there is a small shift away from everything being about the QB. Vikings are getting great play for like 12 million out of Darnold, Packers and Lions QB's are among highest paid but both seem better as more complimentary players on well balanced offenses than guys who put the team on their backs. Until this season's team collapse Purdy was doing the same. Dallas, Cinci, Jax, Mia, jets all out of it with high paid QB's. I am not saying we are going to see QB salaries drop but maybe we are reaching the top of how much cap teams are willing to invest in one position?

    The Chargers would seem like a good fit. Betting on Harbough getting them over the top is as good a chance as most and they could use a #1. They have the QB and of course Adams is a California guy.
