  1. I know it will never happen but wish we could stick Willis in with a lead late like this. Just give the running game another dimension and we want to run. Love is a turnover waiting to happen right now.
  2. Another game where we will have to make a FG in the end because the D is mediocre and the offense makes too many mistakes.
  3. It was tough finish of the half to stomach but we should be ok. Just stop screwing up.
  4. I thought he was gone late last year but he came back and made huge play in playoffs, just need to get him healthy if we make it again. Purdy and Bosa out this week doesn’t hurt our chances.
  5. Has anyone seen anything on if the overall int percentage is up sharply in the NFL this year? It's not just Love and Mahomes, seems like everyone is throwing a lot of them. Even Goff had 5 picks a couple of weeks ago. I can't seem to pin it down in google or find anything that says they are up but anecdotally it seems like we have them every other drive these days.
  6. I have been thinking they may try him at DE next year, not sure if he can add much weight to that lanky frame though.
  7. I watched that play a few times now and the snapper didn't even attempt to lift his head up, like they were hoping for a penalty if something went wrong.
  8. Look at it from the point of view of the Packers defense, they are staring down a likely loss where the ball was, 76% according to google, I would have guessed more like 80. Probably the best thing they could hope for is the Bears actually dropping back and throwing a pass as the Packers D would be gambling heavily to make a play if they did. The Falcons/NE SB comes to mind, Falcons had ball at the 30 and FG wins but the dropped back and got sacked and punted. The rest is history.
  9. They had just the one timeout that they wanted to save for the end since we used ours up. A holding penalty there is a disaster, a turnover worse so really they are doing one more up the middle plunge anyway. I would have liked to get closer if it was the Packers but I can see both sides of it based on the situation.
  10. Me either, I thought it would be a tight game and we made some plays in the end and squeaked it out. Had Enegbare finished the sack on 3rd and 19 we would be celebrating the clutch play of Watson and Love. 7-3 and got a win we really needed, I don’t care about style points at all in the NFL. Lots of football left.
  11. I think the bears knew the run was coming, I did.
  12. The defense is done and isn’t stopping the bears, I don’t blame MLF for going for it. Wish we had gotten one pass into the end zone though.
  13. He is a pretty huge bust right now. Like Quay probably only getting snaps because of 1st round pick status.
  14. Yes and really seems predictable now. Maybe we make some adjustments and turn this one around but we are a talented team that just makes too many mistakes. This one doesn’t feel like a win at the half.
  15. Bears learning what the Lions knew, just don’t screw up and wait because the Packers will.
  16. 2nd and 1 at the 6 and we run 4 terrible plays in a row.
  17. I agree and I really do not care about winning the division. Home playoff games are overrated. But with so many contending teams in the division it can leave you the odd team out in wildcard tiebreakers as division tiebreakers are applied first. Gotta get in the playoffs first and we are AFC heavy in our wins as it is.
  18. Yes, we already blew one home division game they really need this one. That said I expect Love is out since he couldn't finish yesterday. If so we need to let Willis throw to have a chance this week. Tall order with our backup QB but Lions maybe due for a stinker.
  19. Sweet! What a play and pass. Not sure why they don’t trust Willis to throw more, he has been perfect. Nice win and again won with the backup QB.
  20. Yeah that was close to the dagger if he catches it.
  21. This is feeling like a loss, I knew we would split these 2 AFC games. If we win next week it’s ok.
  22. We were going to have 12 men on field anyway so I think he took a shot
  23. You could just feel we were not going to score that drive, hopefully he was out.
  24. Bettors are all over this trap game as line has moved toward Jags. Wyatt in and Walker out, guess we will see how my prediction that anyone will be better than Quay at MLB holds up.
  25. Part of it is the emergence of Williams has pushed Bullard into slot corner where he has experience. Nixon wasn't very good in the slot in my opinion and it's possible they are just finding he is better outside. Maybe Nixon is emerging as a team leader who they just want on the field too. He is a solid tackler and has great speed.
