  1. Bills gave up about the same as they did for Rasul. Trying to project trade values is tough in the NFL but I tend to think NFL teams overrate draft picks, if you can pick up a starting caliber player for a 3rd or 4th rounder at a position of need when you hope to contend it's well worth the gamble. Heck, I would give up a 2nd rounder for an average starting MLB at this point.
  2. Cooper and a '25 6th for a '25 3rd and a '26 7th. A little less than Raiders got for Adams depending on how things shake out. Have to think Lions will be after a pass rusher, I am not sure who will be available.
  3. Wilson gets plenty of targets and having Adams there should be big boost to their offense. Maybe too little too late at 2-4 but AFC full of crappy teams. Rodgers is going to get knocked out soon from all the hits he is taking though, if they don't clean that up not much that Adams' presence will change.
  4. I like where the Packers are at, a talented and well balanced offense and a defense that has 3 good looking rookies who will only get better. The Vikings don't have the offense that the Packers and Lions do and I agree with you that teams will figure out their D, it happened just last year. I haven't seen Bears either, only one game between North teams so far which is sort of strange 6 games in. A big key for Packers will be the health of Jaire and Watson and that is a constant question mark. Lions are still favorites I agree but Hutchison was a huge loss for them.
  5. I am pretty sure I saw Cooper at mike and Walker at will on at least one play. Hopefully more of that to come.
  6. Yes that was really stupid, the Cardinals baited him and hook, line, and sinker…..
  7. Watson, Alexander, and Walker all active.
  8. Yes 3-1 before the bye is a must and really the one loss needs to be one of the AFC games. The weather today shouldn't be too much of a concern with our solid running game. We are relatively healthy, time to get going if they are really a SB contender. Jaire being back would help but can never count on that. Adding a second home NFC loss this early would not be good.
  9. I thought Adams had to be traded today for some money reason. You wonder if this is related, maybe Rodgers wanted him gone before giving the green light to Adams.
  10. Doubs suspended for one game by Packers for conduct detrimental but expected to rejoin team next week.
  11. He is 24 and has another year left on rookie deal. Arguably a quality #2 WR. Do the Chiefs say no to a 3rd?
  12. I am sure he feels like Wicks and Reed have passed him in the pecking order and is worried about his next contract. But not showing up for practice doesn’t help with that much. We are probably headed for a trade, what is his value? 3rd rounder?
  13. Love finished the game and seemed to get his feet under him late. More so than most good QB’s he seems to need to get in a rhythm, maybe he will always be a slow starter to the season but he was lights out at the end last year. I feel like we had an early game against the Vikes almost exactly like this a few years back, huge hole early and almost dug out of it.
  14. Wicks really struggling this season.
  15. Looked like hammy again, at least a month.
  16. No pass rush at all. Now we are already forced out of our game plan. I may go mow the lawn.
  17. Probably don’t miss the fg if Jenkins doesn’t jump. Just as awful a start as you could even imagine.
  18. I don’t know why they like Ballantine so much, he was pretty bad last season I was surprised he made the team.
  19. I haven’t watched them yet but I going with the belief he is still not that good. Pass rush has to get to him though, he takes sacks.
  20. Yeah, but it’s the NFL, next man up and you adjust. We probably overrate the impact of guys being hurt in the NFL. Of course it had to be against Jefferson.
  21. Sounds like Jaire likely out. I was wondering why there wasn’t any bragging about shutting down Jefferson this week.
  22. So Giants get called for a face mask when it was clear on replay that it actually a cowboy grabbing the facemask. Killed a Giant drive but Greg Joseph bailed them out. Then Cowboys score a TD that everyone assumed was called back by offensive holding but flag was picked up due to “replay assist”. Where the hell was replay assist on the facemask?
  23. Really impressive win, can’t remember the DL taking over like that since the days of Reggie. What a job by Gutes getting Willis, huge dividends right away for just a 7th round pick.
  24. Yeah but it was a tough call, I thought they should have tried to get the first down but all options were equal.
