    I thought they let all the defensive coaches go last year but I see now Rebrovich was a carry over although not as DL coach.

    MM would have kept a bad DL coach for 5 years as long as Packers were making the playoffs. The packers are slow to change but it does feel like we are in a much different place than the run it back every year draft and develop TT/MM era.

    I thought he was well respected as a DC and both Niners and Jets had good 4-3 defenses while he was there. Other than that I am not sure, I hear you about MLF's hiring his buds but that is problem all around the NFL.

    You could be right but as a young coach you have to strike while you're hot. If the wheels come off on the D next year, hardly unheard of in GB, no one wants him anymore.

    Yes, maybe they would be better off bringing in Rodgers for a year, we know how they love ex Packers, but they have too much invested in McCarthy to let him sit next year. Someone will give Darnold second tier starter money and the Vikes can't do that.
