  1. Williams, Quay, Slaton, and Cox all active. Pretty much full strength other that Watson and Jaire.
  2. Like adambr2 said above it is certainly something I am watching today. If they can't pick themselves up and compete today it reflects badly on him. The players know he screwed up that game last week, just like having faith in your QB to win games for you the players need to know the coach at least won't lose them for you. There is enough talent on this roster to win this game but I could see them getting blown out if they get down a couple of scores early.
  3. I think adding the 3rd qb is normal for the playoffs. It’s one thing to run out of QB,s in the regular season, another to get caught short there in single elimination.
  4. We will be feeling pretty good about beating Detroit next week if we can get through this one. Are we really going to 0-6 against these 3 teams? I want to believe no but I didn’t think we would go 0-4 or 0-5 either. No turnovers, no lining up in neutral zone, etc and we should be there at the end today. Hopefully MLF got them past the last couple of losses.
  5. I think Walker would get top money in FA and the Packers place a high value on pass blocking LT’s. I expect they will try to extend both but I don’t know what the brass thinks of Morgan.
  6. I am sure the Eagles are going to try to make Love beat them and sell out to stop Jacobs early. Getting the Packers offense out of sync in first half seems to be the key to beating them. Likewise, the Packers D needs to make a rusty Hurts prove can get the Eagles passing game going. Hopefully the coaching staff can come up with some new wrinkles this week. Maybe have some designed QB draws for Love, we never do that.
  7. Just saw a Mike Garrafolo update that he should be good to go. The line hasn't moved in Packers direction since yesterday so I would guess he will play. They probably didn't bother to have him cleared last week because he was going to sit.
  8. I usually prepare for an excruciating loss in playoffs, that is the Packers MO. I don't remember too many seasons where we came into playoffs with a finish like this, usually we either squeak in with a late run or are coasting in with a bye. We will need a big game from Love.
  9. It seems like a good week to move on a little early from last week's debacle and it is the playoffs. This will be a tough one but get through it and we get another shot at Lions. Losing Watson is a big blow, we are going to need long drives and finish them with TD's to keep the Eagles from getting on a roll on offense. MLF, Halfley, and ST coach all embarrassed last week, can they pull it back together? We did start the 2010 run @Eagles so there is that. Eagles favored by 4.5, feels like it should be about 7.
  10. If it lets you pick this week's results like the old 538 site I would be curious how much the chance changes if they are the 6 or 7 seed.
  11. I would have bet on Jacobs, Xavier, and Tom. Gary?
  12. As a 7 seed we are locked in @Philly and then @Det/Min winner. Plus, if we do beat Eagles we are probably doing a big favor for one of our hated rivals who get a surprise home game in division round and an easy path to NFCC. As a 6 seed we could possibly avoid Eagles entirely. It is what it is but hard for me to see sliding to 7 as anything but bad for our chances.
  13. One thing about 0-5 is it is embarrassing and should motivate them. I don't feel great about winning in Philly at all, I think they are the best team, but get past them and it will feel like we have as good a chance as anyone. But that is still only 25% chance to get out of NFC.
  14. It's mostly an overreaction to a disappointing loss. Just last week we were all talking about how everyone was afraid to play us. Jaire being likely done has tempered my enthusiasm, but I still think we have a shot this year.
  15. The NFl does the division winner home game thing to spread around the home playoff revenue and to have the games played in different regions. If they just did it by seeding you could see the same teams getting the home playoff games every year. There is so much parity in the NFL that I think it would be fine to stop it and maybe go to 8 team divisions but with only 1 team getting a bye not much reason for that anymore. We just have to put up with the South divisions sucking forever I guess.
  16. Yep, I wouldn't call it house money like last year but happy to get a week of playoff football for the Pack. Just get out of the wildcard round and you have a shot.
  17. We don't have one, you just have to hope Love gets hot and we put it together in the playoffs. I know other disagree but I think this is more likely if we face the Rams in round one than Philly.
  18. I just think if you feel you are a favorite for SB you would rather not face a team that scouted you twice a year already, all else being equal. There are enough examples of good teams struggling against poor division rivals in regular season like Buffalo NE last week to make me think there is something to it. I guess that might be a more worthwhile look, are intra division games really any closer than other regular season games?
  19. It wasn't a myth 35% of the time. Add that those team were likely at home and favorites after sweeping the team and I stand by not wanting to see a division rival I swept again in postseason. I would guess we are talking about small sample size anyway.
  20. If I was a Viking or Lion fan I would want to see anyone but GB in postseason. Not because we are so good just the beat them 3 times thing.
  21. Same here, I sort of expected to lose today with the secondary so beat up and on the road but we got dominated until the last 10 minutes. Just not a consistent enough team for a run but what the hell, at least we get extra Packer football.
  22. I don't know man, the NFL is sort of built to have these "witching hour" comebacks to keep fans interested. We were beaten early in 4th quarter and never got the ball back with a chance.
  23. Vikings always have that magic in the regular season, but they pay for that karma in the post season
  24. In the old days when there were more successful onside kicks I often thought why not if you have to hold them 3 and out anyway. Now not so much..
  25. This line judge today seems to have his own rule book
