  1. Does anyone here still think they can win this game?
  2. I know, I gave up on this team after the Washington loss but it's still hard to watch how far they have fallen so fast.
  3. I will have to dig up the article but after the MM exit there was an article discussing how the Packers usually have a "soft" team and I think a lax practice schedule was brought up. This was a change that started in the 90's in an effort to make players want to play in Green Bay. It has worked, players seem to want to stay once they are there, but it's hard to watch the defense over the years and not think they are just not assignment sure and look like they lack discipline which seems like it could be related to poor practice.
  4. I thought that hit the ground even live, just had a weird movement on the way down for it to be catch.
  5. We are truly awful, I really can't even fathom why we tried to trade for a WR, the problems go so much deeper than one position.
  6. They should kick the FG, already pissed away a down on miscommunication, you think it will go better now? Take the 3
  7. Now injuries finally come around to stick a fork in our season. Terrible throw by Rodgers, that was on him, I don't even think Lazard was all that open would have probably dropped it anyway.
  8. They really should have tried to move Aaron Jones before the deadline. I knew the Packers were unlikely to raise the white flag with 5 home games left on the schedule but when you think about it they probably need to go 7-2 to make the playoffs. That seems like a pipe dream for the team I have have been watching. Jones may havee gotten us a nice haul and we will have to deal with him one way or the other in the offseason.
  9. Meh, would rather take my chance with the hail mary. Maybe they just don't trust the line to give him enough time.
  10. Fitting end to that "rally". What can we get for Aaron Jones? Something like Panthers just got for McCaffery?
  11. Who can be dumped for picks at the trade deadline? Preston Smith? Lazard? Savage?
  12. Feel pretty down about our chances here even with the lead. We can't have bad second half's all year, right?
  13. We are not only bad but also unlucky. Fun times
  14. Like clockwork, we get an early lead and on next possession the defense lets up and gives up a TD. Hopefully I am wrong but this has been an issue for years.
  15. Pretty much a must win. Bahk out, Watkins in.
  16. He is out today. They are talking about it right now on pregame, they worked all week on reshuffling Oline and now Bakh goes down between Friday and Saturday blowing up the plans.
  17. Well, it was probably premature for me to say that when we don't even know if he is out tomorrow, But if it is a significant setback, which wouldn't be a surprise, I think it may be time to shut him down and see how thing go with Nijman for a while. He is probably our future there anyways. Let's see what happens tomorrow, I haven't noticed him being that bad either but the whole line has stunk so bad it's hard to say anyone is doing well.
  18. Good news but unfortunately it seems paired with some bad news, Bakh back on the injury report which I would guess means he won't go tomorrow. Considering the way the season is going it may be best to IR him and move on, he won't be here next year anyway and trying to squeeze something out of that contract this year may be more trouble than it's worth. He hasn't really graded out that well when playing, probably time to just move on with Yosh.
  19. They were just talking about this on the radio, it was only that 3 and out that followed the Giants tying score when they really got away from the run and they had single coverage on their vet WR's on all 3 throws. I thought Cobb should have had the one to him and Lazard should have adjusted better on the last one. Other than that drive we were still running it and the batted balls at the end maybe stopped TD throws. I am way more upset about the D than the O in this one.
  20. I don't care about home field, we are a finesse team that isn't built for the cold anyway. But let's not wait for the offseason to fix problems again. Let Whitt run the D, he can't be any worse. Edit: Forgot Whitt is in Dallas now Second Edit: I was thinking of Gray
  21. Remember how awful we all thought the Joe Barry hire was? Sometimes it is just that obvious.
  22. Maybe needed a wake up call, another late win pulled out would just make us forget the issues. I really do think Barry needs to go but NFL coaching staffs are loyal to each other so tough to see it happening.
  23. The Badgers saw a problem and had the guts to make a move, not sure the Packers do things that way though and who will take over?
  24. We look beat, I feel like if we don't score a TD this next drive we lose.
