  1. Just awful 3rd down defense, a bad offense constantly finding open guys.
  2. Timeout and then a sack knocking us out of FG range. That was predictable.
  3. Every week we go through a period where the defense can't get stops. They look talented enough to be better, I am starting to question whether we have the right DC again.
  4. Man, Cobb had a step with the whole endzone to work with but Rodgers underthrew it. Big FG though, Crosby looking fine this year.
  5. I was thinking before this drive this is when the defense always lays down and lets teams hang around rather than putting them away when they are on the ropes. Even pinned them back on kickoff and doesn't matter.
  6. I feel like the refs have been more reluctant to throw face mask flags the past couple of years, not sure if that is a let them play thing or they decided they were throwing too many iffy calls so want to be sure now.
  7. The healthiest we have been all year, only Watkins missing among preferred starters. Giants beat up and we are favored by 8 so I expect another OT stress fest. I can't decide if I like this morning game thing yet but it will be nice to have the afternoon open. Of course if we win I will probably watch football all day. Stop the run!!!
  8. I get that it is easy to fix I am just not sure it is worthwhile. The play clock is to keep the game moving, there is no advantage to snapping the ball a half second late. At least not until Belichick finds an angle. Honestly, most of the times it is called the QB wasn't paying attention and the ball isn't even snapped. Sure, enforce it, make it easy to call, whatever. But absolutely do not make it reviewable. Again, it's not an attempt at cheating like most other penalties. It would be like allowing teams to challenge a guy lined up an inch in the neutral zone. On top of that Rodgers would lead the league by a mile in delays every year. Back on the game saw the stats this morning and we really shut down the run. I don't really blame the D for the final 87 yard drive since that was typical stupid prevent D. Really nice win now that I have a day to absorb it.
  9. Loos like Mac Jones out next week with high ankle sprain.
  10. Yes, I think I heard Rodgers in post game say something along the lines that a tackle rotation isn't ideal but Bakh started and finished the game and looked fine. I think whether he can come back and play next week will tell us a lot.
  11. Yeah, and Brady was a tick later than the usual snap at 0, it could have been called. I just think if it's close play on, it's normally not that significant.
  12. I am fine with how they handle the play clock expiring, it's always been that way, We have enough play stoppage as it is, then you add reviews to that? No thanks.
  13. Yeah, I did, you forget it was a conversion and we don't just get the ball. But it wasn't over. Ugly, ugly win but I will take it. Probably about what was expected today with all the WR's out.
  14. I think one of the packer pregame guys predicted a 17-14 overtime Bucs win
  15. Sort of like that Mercedes fumble in the playoffs, all of the sudden we have nothing.
  16. My god what a disastrous sequence. Terrible call by the refs
  17. I don't know that a back shoulder throw to Winfree on 3rd down is very high percentage. Tough to let then off the hook after the turnover but have to pin them back now
  18. Seems like they have been on the edge of fumbling the whole game. Tampa is really really good at knocking it out on plays like that.
  19. I feel like it is always a good sign when our offense converts its first red zone trip. Nice drive
  20. Lions were snapping football with lead the entire 4th quarter with 10-12 seconds on play clock and game clock running. Now they missed FG with 1:30 left and Vikings with no timeouts, Edit: and Vikes are going to win, Lions still the Lions
  21. Not too many quality WR's on either side. It goes without saying but defense needs to stop the run today. It seems like a tossup to me, maybe late FG wins it.
  22. MLF just said Bakh will be limited today.
  23. I hate Sunday night games, always have to work early and if it is a tight game I can't sleep for an hour after it is over. Bak out(sigh), Lazard in not sure about Jenkins or Runyan yet.
  24. Holy smokes, as usual when it comes to white collar crime when there is smoke there is fire and it is usually even worse than you think. But it's Mississippi, I wouldn't hold your breath on any criminal convictions over rich people stealing welfare money. Even if they got convicted the current governor will pardon everyone on his way out.
  25. Yeah i wouldn't say I was expecting it but was prepared for this. The defense is the biggest disappointment to me, I expected the O to struggle. It's a long season, maybe we rally in the second half.
