  1. Looked like they got a guy in the neutral zone but didn’t snap it there.
  2. I could see a blowout loss here, Cardinals put up a couple early TD’s followed by a Packers turnover and then we have the road game lay down we have seen a few times under MLF. Most of my hopes are that Cardinals choke under the undefeated hype and they are just due for a stinker. Plus we have Rodgers. Go Pack!!
  3. I think they are just laying the groundwork in case they win the SB this year. The last sale fell short of expectations and I would be shocked if there is really much of an appetite for this among fans without the SB afterglow. With Rodgers maybe leaving Murphy probably realizes there may not be another good opportunity to hold another sale for a few years and it looks better if you mention it now than announcing it after another SB win. Edit: on Wikipedia it says demand exceeded expectations in 2011. Not sure what I am remembering, maybe something midway through the sale but they had a late surge
  4. I haven't seen he Cardinals enough to have an opinion if we can beat them but they are due to lose and we can still score if no one else goes down. Jones will be more involved in the passing game, we still have Rodgers and a few weapons. I am still going to watch, maybe a breakout game for Amari Rodgers? Just saw we have someone named Juwann Winfree
  5. You have to be able to actually fit the franchise tag in under the cap to use it, and that would require an incredible amount of cap gymnastics to make that work next year. I don't see it happening. Just took a look at the cap for 22, projected to be 30 million over by the site I saw but plenty of salary that can be dropped in the Smiths, Cobb,Lowry,Turner if needed. And we don’t know what the deal will be with Rodgers, if he stays they probably extend Adams and that’s that, if he leaves Adams probably does too but we now have the Rodgers savings to factor in to make room for Adams tag.
  6. Just reading the game thread and saw the comment on franchising Adams but thought it fit here better. Barring injury or extension I would be stunned if the Packers didn’t franchise him if for no other reason to work out a trade. The cap situation is always fluid and of course we need to see where Rodgers is but he is at such a high level right now no way you let him go for just a future comp pick.
  7. Sort of ugly but that has sort of been our MO under MLF, we don't seem to blow the gimmes even if we struggle a bit. Had to get this one and they did, on to Thursday hopefully get some guys back. Iron Maiden and Dio going into commercial breaks. Nice
  8. Weird game, no punts by Washington and they have 7 points. Heineke doesn't make sure he is in and WR #17 drops an easy one or this could be close
  9. The other angle made it clear. shoot
  10. You couldn't tell if the olineman had or if Savage pulled it back in from the angle we saw. Seems like whatever the refs called will stand
  11. Yeah I was baffled about that at the time but wasn't aware of the rule
  12. He is fine, sometimes struggles to set the edge and leaves lanes open but he is a solid pass rusher. The sacks will come.
  13. Yeah I didn't like it either, kicking isn't exciting. Should just make it an automatic point with the option to go for 2, that should knock a few minutes off the games.
  14. Seemed like Smith was going to get a sack then he just throws it up for grabs and the receiver gets it easily. bleh
  15. With the big Thursday game coming I don't expect them to rush anyone back this week, probably going to have to go without King again. Definitely could be a trap game but we should be able to pull away.
  16. Sheesh what did we ever do to offend Lions fans? I don't even think I know a Lions fan, they are like across the ocean from us. I always thought the UP was full of Packer fans.
  17. I had shut the game off after he scored so this is the first time I heard of this but looks to me like he caught it and was running with it before he dived for the end zone.
  18. They came oh so close to knocking the ball out of Osbourne's hands on that key third down, really nice concentration and catch.
  19. Bah ruined what could have been a perfect afternoon. Vikes win
  20. God I love Viking kickers lol.
  21. Carolina has converted 2 4th downs to score a td and xonverts tye 2 pt to tue the game. 42 seconds left and 2 timeouts for the vikes, so plenty of time for them to kick a fg. Yea had to leave time in case they didn't convert 2. That first 4th down conversion from their own 5 was the big one.
  22. Big win, on the road in the division against a not really that bad team. Looks like Vikes may win, have to stay a step ahead and they got it done.
  23. His style rubs people the wrong way, even some Packer fans, but I would argue you want that arrogance in an NFL QB.
  24. That's just great, lets do stupid stuff to keep them in the game
  25. Here we go, last week all over, let's punch it in this time!
