  1. Well, I get why you think it is funny as it is predictable but Jaire returning at all this season is a question mark and Gilmore was totally going to sign with the Packers if released but was traded. Stokes has been bright spot but we seem to be a bit snake bitten at CB right now.
  2. The lines were wonky all day. Last week I kept thinking Watt was lining up offsides but saw the line was off the last time I noticed it and he really wasn't on that play. It doesn't seem that hard, line up the line of scrimmage on the ball and on first down have the computer put the line to gain 10 yards downfield, how can they be a half a yard off?
  3. What weird finish, can't say I remember anything quite like it. I remember Crosby melting down against Detroit a few years ago but nothing like this.
  4. I'm more concerned we're going to go three and out and the Bengals are going to have plenty of time to kick a game winner. Yeah feeling negative after that debacle drive and feel like the worst is coming. Ugh
  5. Had so many chances to stop that drive, 17 straight TD's in the red zone that is embarrassing
  6. Drives me crazy? How easy was that catch for a first down? Is this coaching or King scared getting beat deep? Felt like a great time for a blitz
  7. Gotta go play action on 2nd down, missed PAT looming large
  8. Starting to give up yards after contact on runs, need to toughen up
  9. The network put the camera on King like it was him, I think that's where the confusion was. Inexcusable not to knock that down but he was probably a little out of control sprinting to get in position.
  10. King still sucks and misplayed the ball badly. Wasn't that Savage?
  11. That seems to be the opinion of every Packer fan I talked to this weekend, one of the most negative outlooks I can remember for a game we are favored in. It's probably not that bleak, if King(yeah I know) and Jenkins are back it at least partially offsets Jaire and Myers adding to our injury issues. I think a lot of us just think Jaire may be the tipping point for a D that isn't very good to start with. But we can certainly compete in a shootout.
  12. Totally. I mean had Hader blown the opener of a 5 game series it would sure feel over. Seems like game we would lose 60% of the time the way it went, a big 2 run dinger the difference on a day we did nothing else a the plate. Huge win.
  13. As he should against every lefty this postseason. Sort of dead in here after a postseason game, everyone either at the game or doing happy hour at the bar after work. Fun times.
  14. Well it was a risk letting Houser pitch to a lefty in a tight late inning game, thought he had him at 0-2 though and still have the lead.
  15. I rooted for the 49ers over the Vikes a couple of years ago and the niners destroyed us the next week. Don’t care would do it again, hate the Vikes and loved seeing them lose in the playoffs. Same goes for Cards, screw em.
  16. There's generally a little bit of leeway. Centers have some ability to move the ball as long as it's not a "fake snap" type thing. Depends on what the exact movement was and it's really a judgment call if the refs even see it. I think they were offsides before the ball started moving backwards if that means anything but without a down the line shot can't be sure. Anyway they just go their makeup call.
  17. I am not clear on the rule of "the ball moves" that they were talking about he didn't really snap it until a split second later, would that be a false start to move the ball but not snap it?
  18. I am pretty happy at games once in my seat, it's a 4 hour drive for me that's the main reason I don't always go. Overtime game in progress, going to be a quick 1st quarter with no commercial breaks. Hate that
  19. I hear there's alot of Steelers fans at the game. I would've thought you'd make a killing for those. Probably needed to get them out there earlier to take advantage of travelling Steelers fans. I would guess a week out everyone waits for last minute price drops in the parking lot.
  20. Was late to decide not to go to this one and couldn't find any friends who wanted them so put them on stubhub for the first time back on Monday. They finally just sold but I took a loss on them, maybe should have stuck it out at a higher price but interesting that you can get tickets at such good value, not the hot seller I would have expected and my tickets are lower level sideline. Maybe Covid is the elephant in the room here but makes me wonder if giving up my tickets and just going a la carte is the way to go.
  21. Yep and avoid the media for a couple of days until I get over it.
