    Yeah, ERA doesn't include unearned runs whereas runs/game does. That's where the difference is. As for the game, I would just like to see a well played 9 innings from the Brewers.

    It doesn't matter they are already up 2-0, that means game over. To me, that's a really annoying attitude to have. And it's been one of the most used phrases on this board since the Cubs got hot. It looks really foolish when the other team indeed comes back in the 6 remaining innings.

    I'm sure all we'll hear this weekend is asinine comments from ESPN about how great it is to have the wonderful Cubbies playing so well. (Vomit) Then the Cards will win 3 of 4, with our bullpen blowing a couple games, all the while the Reds go back to being the worst team in the NL vs the lovable Cubs. (Vomit) Should make for a great weekend of baseball. I don't care who's at fault for these losses. I just want them to stop, PLEASE.

    Did you know the last time Shouse gave up an earned run was June 4th? He's been very solid for the Crew this year, and not many people notice. Edit: Prince who? WTG Tony!

    According to Baseball-Reference, Ned has used this iteration -- with Mench -- 5 times all season. (I think the Jenkins iteration must have been used less than 4 times.) I'm sorry, I know guys need rest, but that's ridiculous. Nothing like coming out of the clubhouse at 85% everyday because somebody is always out of the lineup. It's like a rotating DL.

    Graffy can play LF, but it's not like Yost is going to use him off the bench and put him in the OF. He's a spot starting OF at best.

    15. Resurrect Bob Betts. That man had an amazing voice. Robb Edwards is pretty good, but Bob Betts was the best.

    The city itself, dont go too far north else you'll end up in the rhine which is there ghetto and it's very bad. That's what we did when we were there. We got lost getting out of the game and then missed the on ramp back to 71/75 and found ourselves in a pretty nasty neighborhood. Broken glass everywhere, half the buildings are beyond trashed. Not a good place.

    Until this team actually puts together a decent road trip, I'm not expecting anything great. They've lost recent road series to such powerhouses as the Pirates and Nationals. They should have done well that road trip too. I will say this, if there's one place where I think the offense can really get going, it's Cincy.

    Yep, 8 games in 7 days. 3-5 is what I expect. 4-4 or better would be great. We should do well, but it's the road, so we probably won't.

    That's sad that the backup 2B will have more HR's than our starter Weeks. Well, 2B isn't an offensive position so that in itself isn't a big deal. But yeah, Rickie should easily out hit Graffy.

    That should be a terribly ugly lineup. However, with Hall out, Weeks and Gwynn not doing it offensively, it's not bad. This may be the last time Damian Miller bats 5th in an organized baseball game.

    None of the stadium revenue from concessions goes to the Bucks Are you sure? I know the Admirals don't get any of the concession money at their games and that most concessions for most events goes to the Bucks.

    This was pretty much expected. When Lambert was hired, most figured he'd be the guy when Noel left for an NHL job.

    I think it'll be either Morneau or Howard. Prince has a great chance as well, but I don't want to jinx him. I think it will certainly be a lefty who wins.

    Seriously, I doubt this team could beat a AAA club two out of three if they had to play them on the road.
