Pratt is off to a nice start in the bigs and Lara not far behind. Fischer and Josh A. with a well timed AA promotions, it would be nice if they play well to maybe get them some AAA time by the end of the year. Jett has had a nice power upswing with the Pratt promotion. Payne shows the tools to be a top 100 prospect potentially by the end of the year. Quero has been fine but hasn't pushed Sanchez for a big league shot. Burke has been solid but better contact numbers would be nice. Dinges with more health issues does provide more worries. I put Frias at 12 based on the big upside, needs to be in Wilson by next week. Letson has responded well and Hardin is knocking on the door. Adams has come off the DL strong and Ebel has been great after a slow start. O'Rae may not have huge upside but the results are strong, Bitonti has shown consistently small improvement and is often undercooked. Frontada may only have 10ish games in but looks to be the best of a strong DSL group. I struggled with which pitcher at 20 and went for Dub's upside. 21-30 Knoth, DeBerry, Meccage, Dorchies. Thompson, Yoho, Crow, M Rodriguez, Wagoner, Morrison All pitching, we have good upside here but results haven't been consistent. 31-40 Juan Martinez, J Anderson, Encarnacion, Mills, Hughes, Moneys, L Matos, Ragsdale, Cairone Swinging back for the younger bats that either have holes to work out or just need more time to build up some credibility. 41-50 Ortuno, Wood, Fitzpatrick, Leonard, Wilken, Black, Kuehner, Birchard, Boeve, Epipscope Mostly older expeirenced prospects here who I think can be mlb contributors if not with us elsewhere.
  2. We mentioned Reid Detmers, he has been good the last month and has been getting pretty solid national hype. However what about Jose Soriano? He was amazing the 1st 7 or 8 starts and hasn't been great the past month or so. However that might bring his value down, maybe below Detmers. Soriano throws 97 with a great splitter and solid curveball, he walks to many guys but that seems to be where Hook and company exceed. He has 2 years of control, he would cost a pretty solid package like Detmers but could bea sneaky solid add. I would guess either guy would cost less than Skubal and both have multiple years of control.
  3. I kind of think he will end up being a great utility/bench/platoon guy. I do think he might end up being blocked though with us. Turang at 2B (Pena prospect for when gone) Hamilton, Jett, and maybe Joey at utility. Chourio in left, Mitchell/Lara in CF, Lockridge maybe Sal as 4th OF. The nice part is he doesn't need to be rushed right now. His play has been worthy of a AAA promotion soon but with all the big league depth we can let him spend most of the year at AA. Then next year AAA when Mitchell has 1 year left I believe.
  4. Bitonti 4 for 4 with 4 rbis and a nuke. Some huge offensive games today.
  5. Can you send a guy from Rookie ball straight to High A. That's kind of a joke but not really. He needs a promotion like a week ago.
  6. Bucks get Jaylen Brown, Hugo Gonzalez, 2 1sts for Giannis Jaylen Brown to Miami for Ware, Jaquez Herro, 13 and future 1st and pick swap as late as possible. Herro to Detriot for Isiah Stewart, LaVert, 21, and a conditional (lotto protected) future 1st. Turner and Boston 1st (26) to Charlotte for Josh Green, Grant Williams, and 18. Bobby to Lakers for future 1st. Kuzma, Josh Green, #13 to NO for Dejonte Murray and future picks swap (would love to try and turn this to Trey Murphy but dont see it) 10= Burries 18= Steinback 21= Cenac 1st team Rollins, Murray, Jaquez, Stewart, Ware 2nd team Burries, Green, Gonzalez, Cenac, Steinbeck, Williams, Lavert We have a young upside team with some veteran leaders. We pick up 4 future 1sts from Boston, Miami, Detriot, and LA. We also dont have any long term monster contracts.
  7. Burries is my guy at 10, very efficient and good defender. Seemed like a good leader and not a me player when I watched Zona. If we end up with 13 it depends alot on if we trade Turner and/or Bobby. I do like Aday Mara and a Ware big man pairing at least defensively. I dont think if we would have 10 and 13 I would try and trade up I think it would only get us to like 6 and to me this draft is deep so the difference between 6 and 10 (or 13) isn't huge.
  8. Just trying to gage thoughts on Frias, I am pretty sure he will make my top 20. However I am having lots of back and forth about how high. From a tools standpoint I could see him in the top 10 however in the acl some of that could be misleading a bit. He is by far the fastest riser but I struggle with how much.
  9. I am always amazed when I see his hbp stats put into a percentage. He gets hit more than a lot of players walk, crazy.
  10. If Chourio hadn't been hurt he would probably be in the early mvp conversations. He has been on a crazy heater for 3 weeks or so.
  11. Woody threw 82 pitches yesterday for the T-Rats and could be an option. Hardin would probably be the only other decent AAA option. Patrick could also easily slide into the rotation.
  12. Not to bad tonight, hopefully something to build on. If we could get him to be something close to what we got from Eric Lauer in 2021 and 2022 I would be estastic.
  13. When Lara comes up are there any potential contollable relievers that we could swap Sal or Mitchell for? I still like Lockridge as a cheap 4th OF with the lefty heavy OF and Bauers and Yeli as depth. The Guardians and Jays came to mind as an OF needy usually strong bullpen. I know there are probably at least a few other contenders who could use OF help. Jeff Hoffman could be sweet upside swap if the Jay's eat like half his salary this year and next.
  14. I know he would never ok the trade but how awesome would a Yeli, Sal, and pitching prospect for Matt Chapman trade be. Again I am not saying this would happen. Yeli is a great leader but Chapman would fill a huge void and Vaughn could slide into the DH.
  15. 1) DH Yeli 2)RF Chourio 3)2B Turang 4)C Contreras 5)LF Bauers 6) 1B Vaughn 7)CF Lara/Mitchell 8) SS Pratt 9) 3B Hamilton/Ortiz (maybe Jett or Made at the end of the year). That should be one of the best lineups in the league. Vauhgn is hitting .354/.431/.531 I get that is inflated but you find a way to get the .354 batting average into the lineup. I wouldnt mind trying him at 3B (very rarely) if it helps.
  16. There are probably half a dozen DSL guys that could be added like Matos that if between now and say July when the vote would be done could have enough time to be options. Matos, Angeni Fernandez, Sebastian Franeitas, O. Ramirez, I am guessing they big 3 money signings are already added.
  17. Love this, been getting antsy for Cooper and hopefully Lara in shorter order. Having Cooper up should improve SS but i think a Joey/Hamilton 3B should be an improvement as well.
  18. I like the top 30 idea as well. I dont think I've seen Renz listed, not that I would put him top 20.
  19. https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2026/06/latest-on-giannis-antetokounmpo-6.html Picks https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2026/06/central-rumors-portis-bulls-quinn-niang-pistons.html Bobby I generally trust hoopsrumors as a compilation of sources and insider reports.
  20. Looks like teams are looking to pair Bobby in a trade with Giannis. I am sure we would get more picks than just #13. I think if Bobby is in the deal than Wiggins would be involved to make finances work. Herro, Wiggins, Ware, Jacquez, #13 and the 2 future 1st the Heat own. The next rumor I am interested in is that the Pelicans want a lotto pick. I would love Trey Murphy, I would guess Turner and #13 (or 10) wouldn't queit be enough but maybe add in a future 1st from the Heat. Trade Wiggins for a power forward maybe like Isiah Stewart. Draft a big like Aday Mara Rollins, Herro, Murphy, Stewart, Ware with Jaquez, AJ Green, Mara, Kuz, and whomever we can get back relatively cheap doesn't sound like to bad of a team. The down side is we dont get many future 1sts.
  21. If Woody velocity stay like 89-91 would it make sense to put him after Misi in the rotation. That juxtaposition could help Woody a bunch if he still has the accuracy honed in at least the 1st time through.
  22. Sonny Gray might be nice come the deadline if the Sox east salary and next years buyout.
  23. Hardin might be starting in a week or two at this point.
  24. Are there any teams who might be willing to trade us a pitcher. We have plenty of depth, but between injuries (Woody, Preister, Henderson, Crow, CarRod) and iffy results (Sproat, Gasser, Patrick (only recently). I wouldnt be looking for a big time starter maybe just a solid vet inning eater like what we got from Quintana. Sugano from the Rockies could fit the bill, there are some injured guys like Mahle that could makes sense. Otherwise I am coming up blank.
  25. Luke Adams now has 9 HR in 79 plate appearances (counting rookie ball rehab). He has his usual lower batting average and high obp, but it is easy to forget he just turned 22 a month and a half ago. I still really like a Adams/Burke 1B tandem just maybe 2028 instead of next year especially if Luke could play the occasional 3B or OF until the DH spot opens up after Yeli. Alexander Frias looks like a stud. He is older than Pena and Made where but that stroke is high end. He likely will be in Wilson shortly but if he hits well there he could be a top 10 org player by the end of the year. Our domician league teams also look like we have a couple studs in the making.
