    Swinging at way too many pitches out of the zone. 43% (and going up) swing rate on pitches out of the zone this year after being "just" 32% last year.

    If they ever want to update the Mendoza Line with a newer version, Bauers would be great option.

    I do think Turang at ss and Durbin at 2B makes the most sense overall. Either way, we need an upgrade somewhere.

    Ortiz hasn't been the same guy since coming off the IL last year. Maybe pitchers just figured him out. Either way, was hitting .269 with an .817 OPS at that time but just .202 and .591 since.

    I almost get the feeling the Orioles are going to be like the White Sox. Seemingly bright future with all sorts of prospects and then it comes crashing down fast. Not 120 loss fast but fast nonetheless. New owner not really trying to keep Santander or Burnes is not going to go well when some of their guys approach free agency either.

    I've said for awhile, I wish they would dump all five of our announcers. BA and Bill just aren't around enough for my taste. But my fear is they would hand the full-time gig to Levering who is absolutely one of my most all-time hated announcers. He just annoys me to no end.

    He might not be having a good game but his defensive metrics are the same or better than Ortiz. And he can hit. Plus he's only 23.

    He was on the team at the start of the year. Just replaced Gantner/Fletcher who weren't doing much. Pretty short career, not Joe Charboneau short but disappointing nonetheless.

    Our loveable announcers said he was making hard contact yesterday. Of course his 2nd percentile exit velocity would say otherwise.

    Both Hudson and Payamps have WHIPs over 2. Neither one should be out there in the 9th with a 4 run lead. They can't keep carrying both of those guys. Stick with Anderson or go to Trevor.

    Meadows is their CF, Vierling and Perez the backups. All on the IL. Picked up Margot, also on the IL.
