    I simply can't try them. I won't. Just can't.
  2. Personally, I wouldn't do Mitchell for Jansen, just wouldn't. Ruiz would be a better trade option for me than Mitchell. Not a chance in hell I'm giving up Wiemer in any trade for Yandy Diaz. Diaz is just a meh player, and no better than anything else we currently have, Just an average guy who happens to play in MLB and not even an average 3B on defense. Nope, this trade is just crazy imo.

Well, I'm deep in my 50's, and have hated shrooms all my life, so something tells me it isn't going to change for me. lol

I recently discovered a pretty darn good frozen, thin crust, cheap pizza. Donz peperoni, I think it is only available at kwik trip, but I could be wrong. They go on sale for 2 for $5 and rival Jacks before Jacks got so expensive. (relatively speaking) Anyway, if you are looking for a cheap frozen pizza, give Donz a try.

You had me until you mentioned mushrooms. ?
  6. LOL That site is quackery.
  7. I do not want to overpay for Jansen just because he is a WI boy. I also do not think that acquiring him will be nearly as expensive as you keep telling everyone. I'd give up Ruiz for him, but not any of the other top guys in our system.
  8. Being active doesn't have to mean signing top free agents, it could also mean signing guys like McCutchen, over the hill vets, to make it look like we are making an attempt at getting better. Being active doesn't have mean trading for guys that will push us over the top, it can also mean making trades that look like they might help, but in the end don't. We can be REALLY ACTIVE in the off season, but that doesn't mean we are spending a lot of money, or even improving. I have lost all faith, sorry.
  9. Pick up the option, plan to have him as your everyday 2B until we see what Turang can do at the MLB level. Picking him up to trade him is too risky. Either he is part of our plans or he isn't. Last thing we can afford to do is pick up his option with the intention of trading him, then have no interested teams.

  11. I just don't think either will sign those deals. Burnes is going to get a BIG payday if he doesn't fall off a cliff in the next 2 years, I mean a BIG payday! There isn't a chance in hell he takes that offer. I don't think we get Woodruff for less than 25 million per season either.

  13. I'm assuming one of the Brandon Woodruff starting at #1 and #2 is supposed to be Burnes? You literally just plugged the 2022 roster into the 2023 roster. No changes, no additions. That isn't re-tooling, that is a re-run.
  14. Which Rodriguez? OF or Pitcher?
  15. Which Carlos Rodriguez are you giving away, the pitcher or the outfielder? No way do I give up Wiemer, Garcia and the pitcher for Jansen. Nope. How many of these do you plan to do?
  16. I like this plan, a LOT, except for the Chapman part. No way Jose. If we went with a Robertson type, he has closing experience this season, maybe use him at closer, and spend that 10 million we would have wasted on Chapman for some more starting depth, or possibly keeping Wong. Maybe flip Laureano for another reliever once Frelick claims a spot on this roster (which I think we all know is going to happen in 2023 if he doesn't break camp with the big squad.) I'm ALL in on getting Rodriguez and Holiday from Baltimore!!! ALL IN!
  17. If we have to pay Wong 8 million even if we cut him loose, why on earth wouldn't we spend the extra 2 million to keep him? Is this even true? Do we have to pay him 8 million even if we don't resign him?

  19. He'll get a LOT more than that. I also feel like he is a bit of a dick, so no thank you.
  20. Imagine the crying that would have went on in the locker room had we dumped both Hader AND Suter within a day of each other? They couldn't handle Hader being gone, both being gone and we'd be hiring 26 therapists. I can't even begin to imagine.
  21. The thing that really bothers me is how we handled Lamet once we got him, not to mention assuming his salary to help out the Padres. That part of the trade absolutely stunk, and made our front office look like jackass fools. I mean, the McGee and Lamet aspect of how things transpired is just plain asinine.
