Death to sabermetrics, and if you enjoy this type of baseball we simply can't be friends.
-
I'm not sure if there's another team that's bern haunted by sabermetrics as much as the Brewers have. If this team were a hitter, he have a line like .230 AVG, 30 HR, 80 RBI, .300 OBP and 150 strikeouts in a season. I can not emphasis how much I hate this type of baseball. We need contact hitters who can get on base. LF: Ruiz CF: Mitchell RF: Renfroe DH: Yelich 1B: Tellez 2B: Turang 3B: Urias SS: Adames ? No one in sight. Need a free agent or trade. I'd be fine with this lineup and interested to see what they can do. I'd even be okay with bringing McCutchen back as a 4th outfielder, but they can probably put Frelick in that role. I think this would be a pretty solid team.

SD and Philly have fairly tough schedules ahead. I like our chances.

Rodgers has a nasty slider, better than Hader's.

Best of luck to Keston Hiura next season...
JRob1125 replied to Hopper's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Not playing Hiura is stupid at this point. How is he any worse than the rest if this all power/no contact/no OBP lineup? -
That would be awesome

Let's catch San Diego first.

Is his defense really THAT bad? Just from watching it seems average, maybe a little above
-
This season has really reminded why I hated Pujols so much growing up.
-
We have one hitter batting above .260. That's a problem no matter what era of baseball we're in.
-
I don't think Houser belongs in the rotation anymore. He's barely a 6th starter on this team
-
Well, I think we have our future DH
-
Yeah, I thought it was funny at first but this is truly sad to watch

I seriously think this is the most upset I've been over radio since Hot 102 switched to New Rock 102.1

Bottom of the 1st and already a full display of why umpires are a complete embarrassment these days.

That slow curve could be a huge pitch for Peralta
-
Same here. It's like I feel completely neutral but know I shouldn't.
-
1. Burnes 2. Woodruff 3. Peralta 4. Lauer 5. Ashby 6. Houser (remember that guy?) Pretty nice.
-
I really like his fastball-change combo. With better control and an average 3rd pitch I think he could be a very sold 3rd starter
-
I just checked. Most this line is above .300 OBP. It really doesn't seem like it.
-
How many of our hitters have an OBP of .300 or above?

If I were Counsell I'd probably lose my job over a very profane post game meltdown
