  1. FS1 announcers: "Brewers can't get hits when they need them." No kidding!?! That's the whole season.
  2. Exactly! He's out there battling, "competing" as a coach used to offer as the highest compliment.
  3. This is the Brewers. We need our pitcher to hold the opposition to 1 or 2 and then hope the offense & bullpen will make it enough.
  4. I STILL say "Lars Nootbaar" sounds like something you carry in your backpack on a hike or a bike ride.
  5. Sorry I'm stuck with either FS1's announcers or the WTMJ guys who are about a minute behind reality.
  6. The FS1 announcers' deal with that fan's almost sexual relationship with the nacho dish did make me chortle.
  7. Late to the party, but I get the idea that the universe, fates, &c. are going to give the dirty birds a win no matter how well we play. I am tired of the FS1 gushing over the birds. bughghghghghg!
  8. Whoever said this was a bullpen game at least got the "bull" part right.
  9. I can't 'watch' anyway. But I'll probably try to find something else to listen to. Listening to this as you doze off portends nightmares.
  10. Well OK. But his being the Brewers' yo-yo can't have helped much.
  11. I'll be cheering for the Brewers, win or lose, until the last out of 2022. But I just don't see them making the playoffs. It's gutting to see St. Louis catch on fire as the Crew crashes and burns. Weird fire metaphors, but you get it.
  12. Karma demands that he succeed magnificently somewhere.
  13. There’s a “magic” number of a team’s wins and opponents’ losses that combine to clinch that team’s playoff spot or division championship. Is there a corresponding not-so-magic number (“muggle” number? sorry H Potter fans) of a team’s losses and opponents’ wins that combine to eliminate that team from playoff contention? I’m starting to fear that the Brewers have such a muggle number lurking around the corner. Do we perhaps have a magic number? I’m lousy and lazy at math.
  14. Nm CC and Stearns must be held accountable for this.
