One thing is almost a certainty with every single Packers draft:
The vast majority (fans and pundits) will hate the 1st round pick - they hated Gary, they questioned Jaire and Clay etc. Even one of my favorites in Tony Pauline seems to never get the Packers selections early - last night included (tho, he absolutely loved the Jaire and Elgton picks at the time) as he didn't see the need.
I think many of us here understand: you can literally never have enough pass rushers and when Gary went down that couldn't have been more obvious. They don't know if Hollins will repeat that efficacy or if Enegbare takes another step. They don't know when Gary returns and what his play will look like coming off a major injury. Anyhow, the pick made and makes tons of sense. It's a worthy swing at a very young extremely large, fast, and athletic multi faceted rushing weapon. It isn't rocket science why they grabbed him. And, it always goes back to the age old adage: Nobody knows. Nobody. How these players will pan out.
