  1. What kind of League are you in that accepts that trade? Goodness. If I proposed that trade in my League this season I'd be laughed at and scorned. I picked up Drake on waivers for a nice 2 week jaunt and back to the Waivers he went. lol.
  2. Number #1 Seed position yet again. Even with our horrendous ST's...we are simply a better team than the Cardinals.
  3. He has zero drops this year That ball took a wicked bounce for sure. BUT, the way the ST unit as a whole is trending those are the bounces they are going to get. It would appear the best option there would have been to lay off the uncatchable ball and see how it played toward the sideline. BUT, really, when it rains...it pours. And the 2021 ST unit is proof of this.
  4. I have lost McCaffrey, Carson, Gus Edwards, Logan Thomas, and Corey Davis (off the top of my head and I know I'm missing a couple IR players). I lost Kyler Murray for 4 weeks. My season is an utter disaster. I've also developed the uncanny ability to leave at least 1-2 players of worthwhile points on the Bench EVERY week. LOL. I left Bateman on the bench this past week - cost me 15 points (I am in a 1 point PPR League).
  5. Right? Every time. They get away with the extremely physical play AT the catch point on key key plays. They get away with all the jersey holds at KEY points of the route to get to the catch point. It's uncanny. Forking uncanny. Both of these occurred in successive drives to end regulation and to begin OT. There is no way TB doesn't get those calls with the call-getter Tom Brady at the helm. Nauseating.
  6. The excuse is: He really likes Mo Drayton. By every measure he is a great guy. BUT, the obvious is: His ST unit is the worst we've had in recent memory and we've had some awful ST units.
  7. Have we missed any XP's or FG's as well? That's usually par for the course. I missed most of 1-3 quarters.
  8. OMG. And JUST like that? Are you kidding me? Special Teams is an utter disaster. Unreal. LOL
  9. I think his rookie season got derailed by bringing Cobb in and burying him on the depth chart...that drastically reduced his role this season on offense. He could still stink up the joint in year 2, but I'm open to giving him a longer look on offense. Agreed. It's hard to make impressions on rookies in the NFL. We knew he wasn't a Star but had the potential to be a good gadget and slot guy. Mainly, I have zero faith in him as a PR guy. For that matter, I don't really have faith in any aspect of ST other than Bojorquez booting the ball. Hard to believe Mo Drayton could have a less impactful season.
  10. I highly recommend watching the last point of Game 1 vs. Minnesota. That is as good as it gets when it comes to volleyball. Highlights of Full match here: https://www.ncaa.com/game/5909458
  11. Davante Adams is pretty good, eh? Sheesh.
  12. Amari Rogers is starting to give me Rashad Vaughn rookie Bucks vibes. It's early and he has all the character make-up but, boy, has he been very unimpressive this season. I was anticipating more.
  13. I personally wouldn’t do the majority of DeFi - especially if I don’t individually know the people behind the Projects/Pools. It is extremely risky as you are willingly Bonding your crypto hodlings with no contract. You are saying you have faith in the Actors - not only will they follow through consistently for you and the purported yields but you trust their Security. This being said, I am very familiar with several of the Devs and CEOs in the Cosmos Ecosystem. They realize, now, The Gravity Dex was a mistake in the Cosmos Hub. The Osmosis Lab is awesome. Sunny was a key player at Tendermint for 4-5 years. I have a Trust factor with the community I don’t have elsewhere. It is still risky, yes, but I don’t play with all my Hodlings just a portion. The risk in Bonding to a Liquidity Pool ‘shouldn’t’ be losing your crypto. The risk is the devaluation depending on your fixed bonding period. AND, the risk could be you’ll end up with more of a coin you don’t necessarily want to Hodl if the other in the pair rises in value commensurate to the other. Howver, you can hedge this, by pairing with Stablecoins (to a large extent - it isn’t full proof but it is pretty good). Hopefully that answers your questions.
  14. Yeah, Profit Taking is very tricky in trading. Trades, in general, are very tricky - regardless of what any Trader tells you. I have professionally trained in the ForEx Market and the Crypto Market (via the Van Tharp Institute and Pro Act Traders). The profit-taking portion and, hell, the trade management portion is all extremely challenging. In Crypto, the challenge is always the Stop Loss and evaluation of a meaningful R:R ratio. I created metrics and I automated and I still found it challenging. Ultimately, when I took meaningful profit I set aside a large chunk of money I didn't care if it went upside down. Now, I just stake and LP in DeFi. It makes for an infinitely more enjoyable life for me. Last winter I was staying up through the London session and then rising for the NY Session out here on the West Coast. It was awful for my physical and inevitably mental well-being. Best of luck with that. If you ever want to shoot some of your thinking my way I'd be happy to engage and discuss.
  15. I was a wonderin’ what transpired. As per usual, ‘The Fan’ did not disappoint!
  16. I remember people their absolutely loving Red’s Savoy Inn. It was ok but worth the fanfare no way - it was an utter doughy gut bomb. When I last lived there, I remember kind of liking Galactic Pizza and Pizza Harina (I have no idea if these even exist anymore). Pizza Lucé had a cult following too, but I felt it was just ok. Though, their barbecue chicken pizza had potential IF it was cooked proper. Really, for me, when I lived in the Twin Cities it was about the Blue Door burgers and deep fried pickles; the Walleye sandwich at ‘that restaurant’ on Grand Ave; and the tasty tasty Nepalese meals at Everest on Grand.
  17. Well, the Viqueens fans have it rough my friend. Firstly, they are Fans of, well, the Vikes. Already at a disadvantage. Then, couple that with their State’s claim to fame is their Lakes...and Wisconsin has more of those too. It’s just an uphill battle.
  18. Early returns on Smart: This is a definite upgrade to the end of the bench. He is active and impacting the game. His release on his spot-up 3's can still be a tick or too slow - he needs to work on this aspect of his game. BUT, he definitely has impacted the game from an end-of-the bench position. Good returns so far. Here's hoping he keeps it up. Love the size. Love to see him not afraid of the moment. This bodes very well. AND, for as good as Boogie was in Game 1...he was just a total spaz last night. LOL. Not his finest performance in the League.
  19. He was only 'sent down' - ie to Oshkosh - to participate in a Practice. He wasn't sent down to play in any games. Fwiw.
  20. Missing in the Patriots discourse: The Defense. I don't understand how the D Coordinator and the Defensive players always fly under the rader...but they do. It seems to always be Belichick and Brady (I know Belichick is a defensive-minded savant)...just saying their defensive staff and players rarely ever get credit. Case and point: Last night's 4th down to end the game? That was just an incredibly savvy play in the secondary to break off the underneath route and bat down a clear TD completion. The Pats 'D' always makes those types of instinctive plays. Anyhow, my very meaningless 2 cents.
  21. That looks incredible - not to mention many tabs below look incredible. Thanks for the share! I make fritattas every week with our excess chicken eggs. LOVE the cast iron baking method. Great for quick breads too.
  22. Great read djoctagone, thank you. Loved that tidbit. (I read this article while perusing the offerings at ‘The Jerk Store’. They called looking for me.)
  23. Do you all remember 'Mr. Z's' It was that mass door-to-door sold pizza in SE Wisconsin (at least?) in the mid 1990's. Not a bad quick pizza - vastly overpriced due to the fundraising component. I'll never forget being a teenager at Indiana University in 1996-1997 and opening my eyes to 'Big Ten Pizza' and their perfect coke and side of ranch. I had never dipped my pizza before. It was world changing. LOL.
  24. 3 for $10 isn’t a bad price (especially these days). I still contend Red Baron stacks up well against anything $3.33 or less. But is it great pizza? No. Jacks is far better than Red Baron, and remains my go-to cheap pizza... Man, most definitely. Jacks was my Chili Cheese Fritos of cheap pizzas. A go to every time. If cooked just right, it's actually quite fine. Gotta stay away from too soggy a crust tho. Definitely needed a browned cheese to help that crust not sog.
  25. That is pretty bad. During my first time living in the South, I caught myself drawing out words and not even realizing it. But Kelly has been there one day and is using it to play up for the crowd, wow. LOL. It happened to me too when I first lived in the South. It kind of, honestly, just happens. You are surrounded and immersed in a Sea of drawwwwwwwl. I've seen the same thing happen to friends who traveled to Ireland for a stretch...they came back and Day 1 they were talking like a Lucky Charms box. LOL.
