  1. Ideally, no. He had strike 3. Didn't get it. It happens. I know. But that’s how teams get back in games. Ball four wasn’t even close. Should have tried to throw it right down the middle (if he wasn’t). I think he just missed my friend. Agreed tho, that pitcher was swinging like a pitcher - give him a beefcake right up the gut. Lol. The true test, tho, is getting out of it smoothly like he did.
  2. Ideally, no. He had strike 3. Didn't get it. It happens.
  3. The border of the strikezone does not appear in play up top.
  4. I feel like Avi is due for a powerstroke. I don't know if it is tonight but he feels due. Gotta kick start that Big Papi back into the thick of the Playoff race.
  5. To be fair, the same guy who said that still wants Braun to come back to play 3B. Really? Yikes.
  6. This is my first time watching Eric in a bit. I love how relaxed he is on the Mound. Completely under control. I can't believe the developments I've seen. He's locating. Confident. Mixing speeds and locations. What a job by the coaches and the young Lad. Tip of the cap.
  7. I did at first too. Replays showed he was on til the end tho. Hell of a Play.
  8. Escobar saving Urias' arse...what a pick-up
  9. Man is Lauer locating that Curve right now. Hot potatoes. Let's keep that up!
  10. Turner HR. Trea. Kind of a cheapy. Boooo. Man, Trea Turner is a good player. I really disliked the Dodgers getting a hold of he and Scherzer at the Deadline. Boooo.
  11. 'Brusdar Graterol' has that feel of a really effective and aptly named mouthwash.
  12. I missed the 1st inning. How did the Dodgers score?
  13. God dang I love me some Wong. What a fantastic signing in every way.
  14. I swear it's been weeks since we've seen a Lineup like this? It's nice to see some health restored and Rowdy is soon returning. Other than Devin, still bummed, we are near full health at the exact time we need it.
  15. I'm just going to agree with many in here: This is a tough series. The Braves match-up quite well with us. They have a dangerous offense. Pitching is decent, imho, not great. BUT, that can easily be bolstered by our offense which can be decent but certainly isn't great. We haven't been a very good Home team this year. That is what concerns me the most if I'm being honest.
  16. The catching a run in one and shifting to another is a workable strategy in this type of Market - when it takes off. I will say, it can be tricky. You would think the Makers are going to run Bitcoin, Ether, LTC for example - the OG's - and then they'll change it up on you. Just as sometimes the USD index and chart can adversely impact cryptos pegged to the dollar and then, voila, suddenly it makes no difference. I tend to say: The Makers do what they want, when they want, how they want...and it's all priced in. THEN, they tell us 'why' they did it. In the past, for example, Litecoin often led the way. But, right now, LTC has been floating in a sea of nothing for months - of course, unless you were playing bounce trades off of obvious potential Support and MA's. Anyhow, my friend, best of luck! Let me know if you learn of anything interesting. I feel like, with this new wave of NFT's and DeFi evolutions I suddenly find myself less 'in the know' on projects and the like. I was in on Polkadot, Atom, and Hedera from Day 1 BUT, man, I missed out on Solana and that one hurts. Oh well. As I said, best of luck.
  17. Brings a tear to the eye. Classy guy. It's really nice to see all 3 Wisco Major Pro sports teams have navigated themselves into the conversation of 'Classy and Top Notch Organization'. As Small Market teams that is an essential ingredient. Cheers to all for rooting for the 'Good' guys.
  18. I still haven't gotten over how they lost the '97 game. There was just no way the game should have gone that way. Still eating my bitter greens. LOL. I would say I won't bring up the NFCC game in Seattle...but I just did.
  19. Incredible run from the Mariners. Just incredible. Post Trade deadline they scuffled after the emotional blowback from seeing their Closer leave (a teammate beloved by the clubhouse). Since that time, they've continued to gel and the move, overall, really looks like a good One for DiPoto and the org. Personally, give me Toronto and the Mariners 24/7. Boston and NY can lament their disappointments together.
  20. I'll never ever forget that Super Bowl...was rushing home from work (living in Albuquerque, NM at that time) and was doing my standard Mountain Bike routine home to the North Valley. Finally get home. Having all sorts of trouble getting the game on the tele. Finally get the game. Right as Green disrupts Big Ben with some pressure and a mammoth hand to his grill. Nick Collins pick (Nick Collins! Sigh) for the TD. What a truly once in a lifetime moment. Weeks prior, I watched the improbably dominating win in Atlanta while finishing up some freelance work in the USVI. The people I was renting the room from had to come check on me after I nearly broke windows when Tramon returned the pick for the TD. What a surreal and awesome post-season experience. This season has me all sorts of reserved. It was a great character win last week. But, things still feel tenuous and slow and in the 'still figuring out this team' realm. I don't really like, what looks like a regression to me, what I'm seeing from Rashan. I thought he was absolutely primed to take a big big Leap. What I'm seeing instead is way too much high speed bull rushing right past the QB. He needs to learn the art and nuance of the bend and the move back to the QB. We really lack any meaningful depth behind Barnes - who, himself, is a fairly average player. The D Line played much stouter last week, but, again, I am concerned by the regression we are seeing in Keke and we also know he is potentially an injury waiting to happen at any moment. I remain concerned by our inability to create Run to Pass flow consistently in the offense. All this being said, this is the most solid we have been at both kicking positions in a LONG time. LOL.
  21. Tough loss. Too bad, I was really rooting for them to continue their 10 game closeout stretch with a 10-0 record! LOL. Oh well. They surely had the odds in their favor. Sometimes, it just doesn't work out.
  22. Remember when Sanchez was a solid option? Couns touted his performance in a pre or post game and then his regression just began and hasn't looked back it feels like.
