People should be returning over the next few days and I want to bring this up as a potential feature of BF once we get into the flow of the season. Several months ago, I found myself frustrated by how useful information about players is scattered all over the internet and the best content is often hard to find. So I decided to see if there was a way to solve that problem with a very specific focus on one team. Then I thought it would be cool to add the ability to upload an autograph, personal experiences, baseball cards, etc. Drill down deep into a single team, powered by a community passionate about that one thing. For example, Rollie Fingers had a long, illustrious career but does anyone here care about really anything he did before 1981? Probably not. So what if we created a page that if you searched "rollie fingers brewers", this was the first result and it contained a host of information about his Brewers tenure? Well, I just rolled it out over at Twins Daily and interest in slowly building on it. The big issue is that a project like this needs real community buy-in or it doesn't work. Are people interested in a project of this kind? He says this is the right time in his career for the opportunity, as he’s far better equipped now than he was as a younger coach. Murphy was observant during his eight seasons as Craig Counsell’s bench coach, and what he learned during that time helped him broaden his perspective. Despite his reputation as a hard-nosed, old-school baseball guy, Murphy demonstrated a thoughtful and adaptable mindset when talking about strategy during his media sessions. He also said he welcomes information from an analytical front office and plans to incorporate it into his game management. The rotation outlook hinges heavily on a pair of southpaw prospects. Corbin Burnes is now a Baltimore Oriole, and Brandon Woodruff will not pitch in 2024, leaving the Brewers without their top two starters of the last four seasons. The Brewers are now lacking traditional starters, but that could change if DL Hall and Robert Gasser establish themselves as reliable rotation arms. Both showed encouraging stuff in Cactus League play. Hall’s calling card is his lively fastball, but he flashed an improved ability to manipulate his slider and has revived the curveball he rarely used out of the Orioles’ bullpen the last two seasons. Gasser racked up whiffs with his deep arsenal, which features three fastballs (two-seam, four-seam, cutter), a sweeping slider, and an improving changeup. A pair of shuttle relievers could play a major role. Joel Payamps, Abner Uribe, Trevor Megill, and Elvis Peguero are the leading candidates for high-leverage work as Devin Williams recovers from stress fractures in his back, but expect the Brewers also to receive significant contributions from part-time members of the bullpen. J.B. Bukauskas and Bryan Hudson each have options remaining and will ride the shuttle between the big leagues and Triple-A throughout the year, but they could find themselves in big spots while on the roster. Because it would make too much sense. I've wanted to see all teams open in either CA or a domed stadium for a long time and that way we avoid the stupid game-off-game setup we see on so many Opening Days.

The Cardinals have the exact opposite problem. I'm way down on the Cardinals in both the short- and mid-term. It feels like their pitching development has slipped and they don't have an easy way out of that. Their hitting development seems okay but their roster as a whole is getting old.
