  1. Mitchell’s swing looks a little different. I don’t recall reading anything about that this off-season but might be something to watch if he can elevate the ball and cut down on Ks.
  2. Texans doing some damage today. Also added Joe Mixon.
  3. No way. Megill is likely in the closer mix if Devin is out
  4. Agreed, I love tournament time. I caught the last half of the UW-M game last night and came away impressed with them, it would be nice to see three WI teams in the tournament. Marquette has a good team that can make a run of course so it will be fun keeping tabs on them as well.
  5. I came across this a while back and thought it was interesting...
  6. Conference tournament time is here. The UW-Milwaukee squad will be playing tomorrow night for the Horizon League Championship
  7. I think this is a pretty good draw for Wisconsin. On a neutral court they should be able to beat Maryland/Rutgers if they play good fundamental ball. Northwestern is also a winnable game. The return of Kamari should help defensively against the Boo Buie action they run. Hopefully they can make a little run and at least get to Saturday.
  8. Right, but he has not played infield since high school. It appears the Brewers are serious about him playing infield. I just don’t believe it means he will play there extensively. We will see
  9. I’m not sure how to interpret his remarks but it seems as if Frelick were in the plans to get a lot of time at third this year he would be playing there a lot more this spring than he has
  10. Hopefully you are right, a little R & R may be just what the doctor ordered for this squad
  11. 12 shots on goal through the first two periods? That’s terrible
  12. Ugh. They really have limped into the finish of this season.
  13. Good lord. I can finally tune in and they are down 2-0 going to the third period. Sounds like they have played pretty bad so far.
  14. I think I included the Nebraska game but yeah it’s not been great
  15. My guess is that they are seriously considering carrying three catchers to start the year and might need Frelick to play an emergency role there since it might potentially mean having one less infielder on the 26 man roster. But that’s just my guess. I’m also surprised this has gone on as long as it has but it also speaks to Frelicks athleticism and being able to potentially play the infield as well. After all he is a plus defender in the outfield
  16. I was curious so looked at it. It appears since Nebraska they are shooting 30.1% from 3 as a team, 69/229. They are shooting 34.4% on the year. It’s been a problem
  17. Agree. I have my kids baseball practice during the hockey game today so you will probably need to pick me up and carry the fan load and bring home the W
  18. Badgers didn’t lose today because of the officials but yes there were some terrible calls that all went against us. The Blackwell shoulder bump call was a clear make up from one they missed earlier. Crowl getting whistled for standing ground against Edey when Edey was clearing space with the shoulder. They whistled play to stop when Smith went down with ankle but not when Chucky was down, all stick out the most to me
  19. That would require me to do math which is not pretty but I bet its pretty low
  20. Most of those looks were wide open too which makes even more frustrating
  21. The Kamari factor making an appearance again
  22. 2/13 from 3 and given up 11 fast break points. That’s ugly
  23. We are lucky to only be down 11
