    It’s still early in spring training but right now I would guess it’s Ortiz there to begin the year. He is by far the best defensive option of the potential candidates and appears to be handling the bat ok so far

    I recall thinking the same thing last season when I saw him at Biloxi. Then he went on to mow down the Southern league all season. I’m honestly not sure yet what I think of him but I understand your skepticism

    McClellan’s played pretty well so far. Looks like he’s going to need to have to carry the load tonight

    They’ve given up some pretty good looks to the Bucknuts so far tonight. Need to tighten that up a bit

    Slow start for UW giving up a PP goal. But they came right back with the equalizer and finished the period playing with better energy. 1-1

    Maybe, but Wes can play a little D. Probably a pretty important year for him in AAA

    I’m a bit disappointed with how the second half of this season has gone but the Gard hate by some is just crazy. In regards to McGee getting pulled, not only was it his 4th foul, it was also his first game action in quite a while and he logged pretty big minutes already. He looked pretty gassed to me. I am relatively optimistic about the future. Freitag coming in next year should help the team speed, athleticism, etc. Hopefully improvement by Winter with others returning should make for another decent team. One thing that might change my mind on Gard is if recruiting really starts to fall off- he does need to step that up some IMO

    I would put his chances at near zero. I’m just a big fan. He has work to do on decreasing his Ks and has not played at AAA yet. He could use the experience there
