    I suggest to throw Woody out there to start game 3 to see how he handles it. Murphy can pull him if things go south. What do we have to lose? If he works out we have covered having 3 starters at least for the NLDS. He remains under contract throughout 2025.

    I say throw him out there in Game 3 of the NLDS and see what he has. At least give it a try. After all he is still under Brewer control and his contract runs through the end of the 2025 season.

    I’m afraid it most likely is the worst thing. Woodruff and Murphy sounded as if they had been down this road before and neither sounded positive that Woody would be pitching any more this season according to the MLB.com article this morning. With the Brewer pitching staff decimated it will be an incredible challenge to win a playoff series this year. It has been almost exactly 2 years since Woodruff’s press conference explaining that due to another shoulder injury his season was over. Déjà vu
