    You're efforting really hard to argue that I said Miller was a good hitter...or something. Merely that Counsell has no better options right now and that Miller is playing due to his defense at 1B. There's little difference between 6 and 8 in the order anyways, as @markedman5has pointed out. And both Wiemer (84 wRC+) and Turang (59 wRC+) have been worse hitters on the season.

    You can't just take away his best month but count all his negative months against him....And that's patently false because Turang and Taylor have easily been worse hitters. CC isn't in control of the roster. MA is. Seems clear that they're targeting the deadline for upgrades. But that's still more than a week away...Until then, CC is going to stick with Miller likely due to the defense he provides at 1B.

    He can only play who's on the roster. Wiemer and Turang pretty much have the 8 and 9 spots on lock.

    It's not even just during Burnes starts anymore. 2 straight days Winker isn't playing against the RHP. Like what's the point cause he sure as heck doesn't play defense or run the bases....

    I'll tell you what, over the past month, Chourio hasn't been showing many holes in his swing... Unless his development stunts significantly over the next year, there's no way he's spending two whole years in Nashville. He might very well end up in Nashville by the end of the year.
