    Ryan McMahon is toward the very top of my list of who would most help the Brewers at the deadline. Definitely would fit in with the run prevention philosophy. If we can rip them off like the Cardinals did with Arenado, let's do it.

    Yes, because the alternative is Alexander. Megill's stuff is at least good. Alexander's stuff sucks. Megill was also good aside from three appearances.

    Need at least two above average (100+ wRC+) bats between the following positions: DH, 1B, 3B, RF. Preferably run producers that you can slot in the middle of the order.

    Would also be nice if this was the series Tyrone Taylor started to regress to his mean. Because we're at the absolute lowest ebb right now with him.

    Going to be a tough series w/o Miley going tomorrow and the continuing issues in the middle of the order. Phillies are red hot. What's funny is that we actually have an advantage over the Phillies at the top of the order...

    I'd take either. O'Neill not close to as bad as he started off the year. More upside than Perkins or Tapia. Cheaper than Carlson, too.

    Division rivals, I know, but Dylan Carlson is a player the Brewers could probably acquire right now if they wanted to. Out of a starting job now that O'Neil is off the IL. 107 wRC+ and upside as a former top 20 prospect. Would be similar to the Adames deal in 2021. He'd be a definite upgrade over Tapia and Perkins.

    This guy can just never stay healthy. Would love for Gasser to get the call, but I suspect it's going to be Rea.

    Yeah. That's the thing. Not the Brewers MO at all. But the timing here just seems like it's as good as it's ever been for any of our players. What's even more bizarre is how the Brewers haven't even promoted him to AAA yet. Makes at least a small part of you wonder if they're considering a direct call-up to the majors.

    Yeah, at minimum he'd put up like a .360 OBP, which would be second best on the team after Yelich....
