    Brian Anderson...
  2. Brewcrew82
Missed strike 3 comes back to haunt...
  3. Brewcrew82
    Ughh two cheap hits.
  4. Brewcrew82
Even Yelich's outs are pretty right now.
  5. Brewcrew82
Gotta admit. This is impressive what the Brewers offense is doing against Steele.
  6. Brewcrew82
Maybe Anderson will have one of those "new father" hot streaks.
  7. Brewcrew82
    Defense matters...
  8. Brewcrew82
His saving grace is that he can do that.
  9. Brewcrew82
Houser's command just isn't good enough to be a starter...
  10. Brewcrew82
It's always the same guys...Swanson, Suzuki, etc.

Unlikely considering he's never gone 8 in his career. Cubs don't like to let him run up high pitch counts.
  13. Brewcrew82
Houser is infuriating with his command sometimes.
  14. Brewcrew82
    Robots...
  15. Brewcrew82
I think the 6 man rotation is doing us more harm than good.
  16. Brewcrew82
We can probably expect Tyrone Taylor to rejoin the team soon, perhaps as early as this weekend. Just homered again in AAA.
  17. Brewcrew82
No. You don't mess with Yelich this season with the way he's playing, both on offense and in the field.
  18. Brewcrew82
His BB rate was fine in AA for as many batters as he was striking out. And he didn't even walk anybody in AA in June. Meanwhile, his AAA BB rate is heavily inflated by his first couple appearances. His stuff is MLB ready.
  19. Brewcrew82
I would argue he doesn't need much more, if any. His stuff is ready, and he's ready.
  20. Brewcrew82
Looking forward to hearing their plans for 1B...

Well, that provides some explanation to something that was to this point inexplicable re. Rowdy... But, where is Hiura? Would be nice to find out if he's figured it out before the deadline. Not a fan of the bullpen moves either...What does Abner Uribe have to do?
  22. Brewcrew82
Wonder if we'll see Jones in the lineup tonight...I'd be for it, just to see if the legend can grow.

It's bad enough facing a lefty, but Justin Steele is a guy we've never hit, and he just happens to be the current MLB leader in ERA. We're going to need "good Houser" to show up. Thankfully, most of the Cubs' best hitters are right-handed. And Steele isn't exactly known for his ability to go deep into games. If we're not going to score, we need to drive his pitch count up.
  24. Brewcrew82
Well, gotta put a run on the board now at least. Would be a frustrating loss.
  25. Brewcrew82
That was my response to him coming into the game. Not what he’s done this inning.
