  1. Why we'll end up giving him as much time as possible to get out of his offensive slump
  2. So, is this season just going to turn into a competition for who can claim one of the four spots in our postseason rotation?
  3. Wonder how grumpy the Cubs fans at the ballpark must be right now...
  4. Ah crap you're right thanks for the catch. I had assumed he was catching because he's been hitting. Haven't quite gotten use to the DH in the NL, I guess. Still, it's "LOL CONTRERAS" all day every day, am I right?
  5. ROWDY! It's about time. His statcast numbers are sexy. .306 XBA, .718 XSLG......
  6. I think it's mainly the velocity. He used to be around 90-92, but now he's 94-96 easily on his fastball. He also developed (refined?) a cutter last year that's become a great pitch for him.
  7. Yelich seems to be seeing the ball well all of a sudden.....
  8. Cardinals down 2-0 against the D'Backs. Should that hold up, we have a chance to move at least three games clear of everyone else in the division. While that doesn't matter much at this very early stage (we didn't leap into first place for good last year until late June), it is nevertheless nice to know we have that extra breathing space whenever we experience the inevitable slumps and losing streaks that are part and parcel of a 162 game season.
  9. Come on now. You're going to say I'm picking the argument when you for some reason decided to, out of the blue, whine about my two whole posts about the Red Sox and Phillies offensive struggles, claiming how "tiring" it is to "constantly hear" about things that have "no relevance" to the Brewers offense. And you did take a shot at the Brewers offense, saying how the over/under on runs scored tomorrow is 0.5. But that is all besides the point. You do nothing on here except complain about the Brewers offense. That's your schtick. We get it, and we're growing quite tired of it. I would encourage you to sit back and just appreciate what we are currently witnessing, because it's nothing less than the best prolonged stretch in the history of our beloved Brewers.
  10. Just get me to the playoffs with a healthy and in-form Burnes, Woodruff, and Peralta, with Williams and Hader ready to close out games from the pen, and a more than capable offense led by a resurgent Yelich and key trade deadline acquisition Rafael Devers.
  11. Dude can you make a single post without taking a shot at the Brewers offense, particularly on a day when we just scored 11 runs? Enjoy the game, though!
  12. Cardinals losing 5-1, too. Great night all around!
  13. Of course, you didn't even respond to any of my points, Anyways, if you think my two whole posts, which were made for the purpose of providing levity and context as to the wider offensive struggles occurring in MLB right now, are as constant as the complaints about the offense by you and other persons who shall not be named, well, I'm sorry to have triggered you. But why be a Brewers fan if you can't enjoy what is by far the best prolonged stretch of baseball in Brewers history?
  14. This really didn't age well. Thank you, though! Please do it with the rest of our players!
  15. No. They're good. I'm just responding to certain people who have non-stop worshipped them and their acquisition of Castallanos, aghast at why we couldn't have done so ourselves when he would have surely solved all of our offensive issues.
  16. And the great Phillies offense led by the people's favorite, Nick Castellanos, just got no-hit....If only we had signed him, we would've had one of the greatest offenses of all time.
  17. Cain hitting nothing but infield singles lately.
  18. If Turang truly is finding his power stroke, then the time is near to either call him up or include him in a package for a stud bat.
  19. Now, if we can somehow avoid a Josh Hader appearance, all will be well in Brewer land tonight.
