David Dahl has a career .826 OPS against righties and provides you another left-handed hitting option in the outfield and at DH. He's still fairly young and has been an all-star hitter as recently as 2019. It's time to bring him up and see what he can do.
-
We do, though. His name is Keston Hiura, who has been our "best" hitter so far and who Counsell only seems to want to play against left handers despite his reverse splits. More Hiura and Taylor, less Cain and McCutchen (against righties). Also, bring up Turang and possibly even Dahl.

Strickland has been awful this year for Cincy. I think we're fine in the bullpen to be honest. Could we use one more guy? Sure. But priority #1 is finding a legit bat to put at the top of the order....
-
I'll bet that we'll be fine at 3B, SS, and 2B with Urias, Adames, and Wong. But Counsell has gotta stop automatically inserting McCutchen into the lineup against right-handers and get Taylor some more at bats! Bring Turang up, too, if we're not going to trade him.

Don't poke the bear....
-
What a throw by Caratini! and what a pickup by stearns!
-
With Hader presumably unavailable today to go along with Williams, I would be tempted to go to Milner for the Pederson, Belt, Ruf, Crawford part of the order....
-
This is sad but true. Why I will never complain about how "boring" 1-0 Brewers victories are....
-
Atta boy Burnsie! I would pull him after that inning, but that's just me...
-
Might be the position to upgrade via trade. Although, Taylor deserves more of an opportunity than he's gotten thus far...
-
Burnes increasingly looking like he's destined to become the greatest pitcher in Brewers history. Already might be the most dominant...
-
I like your optimism.
-
Hopefully the offense doesn't think their job is done for the day now that they scored a run....
-
A run before the ninth inning would be nice. Too much to ask??
-
Can Burnes come even close to that performance last night from Ace Lauer?
-
This team gets one more legit bat along with urias coming back, we're easily the second best team in the NL...
-
5-1 week! Ace on the mound tomorrow!
-
Atta boy, yeli!
-
We need you yeli!
-
Hernandez missed two blatant strikes in the segura at bat...
-
And Angel misses two clear strikes......
-
Dang it, I thought Wong had that.
-
Okay, can someone please luck into a home run?
-
Nope 13.
-
Career performance from Lauer.
