    Tanner Shears return from TJ hasn't been fun. He opened the 5th inning with 4 BB and a HBP. 22 pitches, 4 strikes.

    I think Ashby just didn't have enough time to get completely warmed. Miley faced 2 hitters and threw 9 pitches after the HR to push the lead to 8. Considering Miley works very quickly there wasn't a ton of time to get loose and warmed. Now why Ashby is as deep in the doghouse as he is? Who knows. Only Murphy can answer that. At this point though with how much time he's had between outings, he's probably going to be shaky in his next outing due to rust.

    Ashby has looked totally fine in his two outings this year. A bit wild in the second one but certainly nothing that should have him this deep in the doghouse. He has great stuff and his track record as a reliever in MLB has been superb.

    Bohm was never on the block in a serious way. The rumored ask from the Phillies for Bohm was astronomical and nowhere near in line with his actual value.

    Ashby seems to be in Murphy's doghouse for whatever reason. He's been used 2 times in 11 games and hasn't pitched in a week.

    Does someone want to let Murphy know that Aaron Ashby exists? Ashby hasn't pitched since 5/27...we are basically operating with a 7 man bullpen

    Yeah he was not 89-91 lol. It was a 6 pitch first inning but his hardest pitch was 88.6. Looks like there's nothing wrong with the guns in Wisconsin

    Cornielle and Alastre isn't getting you close to Suarez value. Neither of those two have much if any trade value.

    These kids just refuse to give up. Feel like no lead is safe against them this year.

    I'd be pretty surprised if any of Megill, Koenig, Uribe were available with all 3 pitching back to backs. With the bullpen being much stronger, we really shouldn't be pushing any relievers to go 3 days in a row. Especially so a huge body, high effort guy like Megill.

    A day like tomorrow is where having Ashby and Hall back in the pen is a huge bonus. Maybe it doesn't end up mattering but with likely all 3 of Koenig, Uribe, Megill down we will have Ashby, Hall, Zastryzny, Anderson, Mears available out of the pen compared to earlier in the year where we would have had like Alexander, Hudson, Payamps, Mears, Anderson

    Yeah Burke can't move up to AA until one of Wilken, Adames, Boeve is either promoted or injured unless they want Adams to get some corner OF reps.

    For the type of pitchers they are, Patrick and Priester are not going to have an innings limit that impacts them. Patrick has thrown 124 and 136 innings the last two seasons. Priester has thrown 158 and 122 innings the last two seasons. These are both guys who likely end up around 150-170 innings on the season which is an acceptable jump from their previous workloads.

    Josh Adamczewski breaks into Pipeline’s Top 30 with Caleb Durbin graduating from prospect status. Adamczewski slides in at 16. Hopefully we can see him back in action relatively soon
