And Molina gives up another roped double to the next hitter. Like I said yesterday. Expecting a player to come straight to A+ and deliver because they had success in A is not a guarantee.

Yophery just looking totally overmatched at the plate today. Not sure I've seen a single comfortable swing.

Bazzana ropes a single to LF and foolishly tries to stretch it for a double. Was out by about 10-15ft. Thanks for the free out.

Knew the HR against Rudy was coming. He was giving up too much hard contact to not get beat. Hanging slider gets pulled down the RF line for a HR. 1-1 game.

Lara walks and steals 2nd then Pratt hits a routine grounder to SS that the SS throws in the dirt over to 1B. The 1B can't get the scoop and Lara was busting it the whole play and makes it home without a throw! Well done Luis Lara. Rattlers up 1-0!

Rudy gets out of the inning. Definitely a bit shaky though. Also I've really started to notice how annoying this Lake County roster is. I swear they have like 5-6 hitters that stand in the box with a deep crouch like they are trying to manipulate the strike zone.

This is the best he's looked all year. Would really love if we were getting velo numbers. Feel like his FB has a bit more zip tonight than normal.

Horrible AB from Luke Adams who doesn't take the bat off his shoulders. Probably should have struck out 2 times. 4 pitches all strikes. One was called a ball.

Luis Lara has had a playoffs to forget. He has a .053 average and a .125 OPS.

After the Areinamo leadoff double, Yophery swings at a chin high FB and doesn't even come close. Really bad AB.

Nobody said he would be playing SS here. You're just saying that he's a serviceable 2B based on his defensive numbers in 369 career innings at 2B which is not how you should be looking at defensive metrics.

It's a 369 inning sample. Way too small to read into. His -39 DRS and -59 OAA in 6000+ innings at SS are far more evidence to his defensive quality than 369 innings at 2B.
